I Think its right to have 3 good lines rather than 1 good line with others chipping, especially with the quality we have signed, with bohmbach, schulz, kolnik and moran all hopefully logging 25+ goals, along with brits such as lacho and clarke(when fit) factored in with the right line mates they could also hit 20 and 25/30 respectively, macmillan also seems to be a threat around the goal. My biggest worry is that even though our d is strong, we dont seem to have a d man with the execption of dimmen who looks comfortable quarterbacking the powerplay, which is why i think our PP has struggled recently and our transition play has not been great. I thought the reason Corey always put a forward on D was to take the QB role? I see what your saying but I feel the issue with the power play isn't the set up, that works well, it looks like the inability to take a shot when we have cycled the pick for 15 seconds or more. Yeah possibly, i think it will come, as you said the set up is there and were good at holding the puck in the zone its just finding that final shot or creating that shooting lane, wish corey would use mosey more on the PP as think hes great at the blueline, plus if we do get caught at the blueline, id sooner have mosey chasing back than lee if that makes sense.

I really like Lee as a God solid stay at home Dman but he is not the right player to be playing on the powerplay unit.

On the minus side... he did not have a good game last weekend when it came to keeping the puck in the offensive zone! Although he usually is better than that...

That shot is what keeps him on the poweplay. Put him out there with a forward with a powerful shot on the blue line and you can drop the bombs all night long.....or cycle the puck continuously until the bad guys eventually clear it.

Clarke Moran Kolnik Schultz Bohmbach Ling Lacho Macmillan Mosey/Betteridge Farmer Myers Janssen Thoughts? Mosey will be on D until Waugh returns or we sign someone. Betteridge deserves the ice time. He improves every game.

I know, that's why I put the two in the same spot, when mosey is on d that leaves Ollie there, you are right the more ice time he has the quicker he can blossom, been really impressed with him so far

not keen on Farmer and Janssen being on the same line. Janssen having to get involved every time Farmer starts something he can't finish.

I see your point, I was just thinking Farmer could irritate and agitate whilst the opposition won't dare do anything about it because cam is there, how do you think we should work it?

Farmer will drawer plenty of penalties just like Tanaka at the Blaze. We just need to energize our powerplsy to capitalize. I think we have the tools.

I don't think Farmer will be as prolific as he was last year in terms of points but he will be a key part of the team for aspects like the one you just pointed out
