Hopefully an entertaining game and the day the forwards find the net a little more frequently. I'll go 5-2 Panthers.
Not holding out much hope of seeing Clarke any time soon, wasn't fit enough to have his photo taken today!

When fit he is a goal machine and a player we certainly miss. The last thing I want to see is him retire, I just want him to have some luck and keep fit...

Head ? It looked like on the video he was limping :/ I heard a stick was high too but sure on the video he is lifting his right foot off the ice whilst going off.

Panthers to blitz the storm 8-2! And it looked like Clarke got hit in the head in the game and seemed uneasy on his skates after

On the highlights Clarke goes down at 1m 34 sec and then at 2m 35 sec Clarke is trying to defend in the Panthers zone when Giants score the goal in regulation time, so he must hame retuned to the game or is the highlights reel mixed up? Higgins goal is timed at 4.41 in the 2nd period
"David Clarke left the action during Sunday's game against Belfast at 29.16 and could not return to the ice."

Disappointed that Wiedergut is injured, looked good last weekend.
Still hope we put Manchester to the sword though. Anything less than 2 points here is not a good result.

If we've had a week of team building and forward lines gelling together, partnerships being formed, then we could really kickstart our campaign tonight.
If we have another night/weekend of struggling to make any real attacking moves work, then should hope swift changes are made in the roster.
I'm very much hoping for the former to happen as there is a lot of talent in this squad and rolling 4 consistently strong lines should overwhelm the Storm. Oh and of course I can wait to watch Cam again!

Some more suceess on the power play wouldn't hurt. Our set up is fantastic but then no finish.

The video was a massive let down. Didn't help that we couldn't hear a thing, but it's not a get you pumped up video, just a damp squib.

What a game!
The good: Cam Janssen police's games as well as I've ever seen a Panther do. All he has to do is give a nod or point to anyone and they fall in line. The final few minutes were brilliant as the whole Storm team went from thugs to church mice just with Cam skating around. His goal a sweet reminder that he's not here to just be a goon. As for the MoM award, not sure after Moran got the hat trick but it was well worth his reaction!
The forwards finally clicked! It took 10 mins of straining but they started connecting passes and getting shots on net. Kolnik and Moran paired up really well (Storm couldn't cope with Kolnik). Lacho complemented them well too. Schultz & MacMillan continue to impress me as well.
Wiikman had another good game, he's a reassuring presence to have in between the pipes. It would have been interesting see him challenge Kalemba.
The bad: Our defence quite often stank. Didn't help losing Waugh but Steve Lee turned the puck over far too often. Schmidt had been playing well recently but he lost position a few times tonight. At times we played ourselves into trouble and couldn't clear the puck out.
The opening video was a real damp squib. For a 'pump up' intro it rather tails off into nothing at the end!
The ugly: The Storm discipline was atrocious, lead by a hot-headed coach. They suffered a 'Brian Stewart' collapse at the end and just spiralled into a series of sucker-punches and embarrassing attacks on Kolnik. All mouth and no trousers though... It soon stopped when Lee, Janssen, MacMillan and Farmer all came out for the face-off though.

Good win and Kolnik had an excellent game as did Moran of course and Schultz, MacMillan and Cam was just perfect.
Have to say it again, the entrance video sucked worse than anything I have ever seen before anywhere.

That's the worst intro video in the history of professional sport. Absolutely dire. Those responsible should be fired, re-hired & then fired straight away again.
Great game, Storm are so open it makes for goals. Kolnik & Schulz were quality & again Cam played his role perfectly. Loved his enthusiasm with the goal & MOM. We nearly had a goalie fight as well, great fun.
We could well be on to something good here people.

As mentioned the intro video was very disappointing and didn't get any of us really pumped up. However, the hockey was brilliant and it was great to see the forwards click. Added entertainment with most of the Storm losing their rag until Cam was put on for the last couple of minutes. Janssen had a brilliant game and loved his excitement when he scored etc.
