Seems strange that we have not yet announced our final import... Do you think they have already signed someone, waiting on his visa clearance, and will announce when he lands, or are we still looking for that last bit of the jigsaw?

I would think they'll announce when someone is signed. Maybe they want to have a look at Wideload before they decide what's needed, goes against what the original press release said but things change I guess.

I know I've mentioned this on a different thread but all the rumours point to Ling, which wouldn't disappoint me in the slightest.

I know I've mentioned this on a different thread but all the rumours point to Ling... Really? It's not Ling. I overhead a conversation in a pub after the game last night involving someone I know who works for the Panthers. They categorically said it's not Ling but wouldn't say who it is

Lepine is the ideal like for like replacement for Peckham if he we can het him out of his contract(& many other ifs). Left sided D. Good ability. Hits hard and can step up if needed to support Janssen.
Would be happy with this.

Not going to happen. It's more likely to be long than Lepine. I think we will wait to see how good the euro is (don't want to spell his name wrong) before we decide to sign a forward or D man. That's my opinion.

Oh, I agree on both parts. Just very wishful thinking on my part. ☺

A Lepine type is defo what we need. A bit more toughness would not go amiss.
