Happy with this, if rumoured that Ling is coming in as a forward and we fill the remaining D slot with a player like Daniel Maggio who is very similar to Peckham in terms of physical play and willingness to fight then I'll be happy, hope the euro player isn't that Stanislav chap, I'm sure we'll be able to attract better.

Surely this mean Ling won't be coming?
If we are signing a player to replace Peckham that would be a d man and the euro will also be a D man as cover until that replacement arrives. Or am I reading it wrong :/

That's how I read it too.
But if the Euro cover guy stays,that would give us EIGHT D (plus Mosey) and we don't need that many !

We're going with 12 imports. The Euro guy will be short term until the North American player arrives, this is so we will have 11 imports as opposed to our current 10 whilst we wait for the actual replacement of peckham to arrive.

It's not Ling. I overhead a conversation in a pub after the game last night involving someone I know who works for the Panthers. They categorically said it's not Ling but wouldn't say who it is

Fraser Janssen Ling To complete the roster would be nice. Fraser would be awesome, his size and style of play would bolster our physical presence even more and his willingness to drop the gloves takes some of the responsibility of Janssen and would hopefully mean Farmer would keep his on. Also seen as Janssen and Fraser played on the same team last year hoping he could pull some strings. Janssen that's a given and I can't wait to come for him to come in with his no nonsense style of play just hope the officials don't call him on big hits he's going to no doubt be throwing about. Ling has somewhat been squashed but would have been nice, but as that doesn't appear the case id like us to go get Steffes as he's still a free agent and snipes for fun |

I'd take Jack Combs as well, put up 56 points in 32 ECHL games. Steffes or Combs to come in with Janssen and Fraser and that'll be just peachy

definatly would be a upgrade on Peckham but I highly doubt he will come here at his ages still in the NHL/AHL |

Well the website states that the temporary cover may stay too, leaving us with 13. |

We need 13 if we are going to compete with breahead.
Some one like Fraser would be fantastic plus 2 forwards.
I don't think it would be possible for ling after his recent troubles with the law. Would be fantastic though.
