Just getting this out of the way now before someone posts it in October off the back of a 3 game streak!

All the usual suspects as per normal. Cardiff, Belfast, Clan and for a first game out I thought the Steelers looked good last night too. Netminder in particular.

Clan really should win the league this year.
Who can stop the Clan? Finnerty can.

In all seriousness I think it's going to be handful of points seperating 2-5 and I'm hoping the Clan Don't run away with it as things get dull quickly.
Speculating here but if we get British CHL spots do you think it'll be 1 and 2 in the league again?
That should keep things ticking over..

There'll be more than a handful of pints between us all. 1 weekend in April alone will see to that!

No one expected us to win a game but we did. Sheffield and Clan can win a game. They will have to put in a top performance but still a win is very much possible for both sides. Anything can happen.

The winnable game out of all 8 is the German team clans home game... forget the rest!

The problem Sheffield and Braehead will have is our win against Hamburg, their opponents this year will have clocked that one. Although we played great,we beat Hamburg because they took us lightly, rested two or three key players, didn't turn up for half the game......and got beat.
Steelers and Clans opponents won't make that mistake again !

DOPS may not do us any favours, but with our deep Brit pack we can stand the odd import missing a couple of games.
Next !

I remember thinking in middle of that game if we were to get pts during the Chl it was going to be then as they looked surprised, little did I know we'd have that special night in NIC few weeks later! (Swear it was louder than normally that night as well even with arena no where near full)

Great game, great atmosphere and a memory that'll never fade. Euro leagues have embraced a terrace style approach to crowds. That's where we dropped the ball and emulated north America and a school disco from the eighties.

I'm hoping to go to Berlin soon. I love the DEL. They have a good balance of skill and grit.

Sacrificed a lot of away days last season for it, made Hamburg trip and Belfast weekend away that was it, worth it though
Looking forward to doing more away days this season though
