Has anyone watched GMTV yet?
Ok start i thought, as expected, its abit of a Gary show and you get what you expect, room for improvement but nice to have it either way.

I like the idea a lot but it comes over as "The Boys Club TV". Need someone younger (and not wooden) and I would like to see different people at Panthers Org have different jobs. Surely the Panthers are big enough to avoid giving even more control to just one person.
Fantastic idea, MASSIVE step in the right direction but needs to be targeted not at just those with memories of the 1970's and then it would be excellent.

Its everything I thought it would be and worse. Cringe worthy, stale and yet another chance for Panthers to ram adverts and sponsors down our throats.

First ten minutes are decent, after that it totally falls to pieces.

It was OK. Yes a bit cringeworthy at times but then that is to be expected. I can cope with the 'interesting' segments if I get to hear from the players/coach team a bit more. At least it's on YouTube so easy to skip through it.

It was OK, quite well made. I think the test for any show is what we'll get if and when it goes pear shaped, will it just be whitewashing or will it be a valuable, interesting discussion.
Not convinced of the Chick Zamick gantry or whatever it was called, a bit forced, although that may improve as the guy doing it relaxes into it and maybe gets a more interesting subject to interview about (no offence to the Panthers Travel guys).
The name seems odd too, makes me think of the NHS thing we did, didn't that have the same name?

Thought I'd have a look at what you guys were putting together. Thought it was OK, could be better but could be a lot worse. Sure it will improve as the season wears on. It's a start and the club should be applauded for at least trying.
In the mean time, for all you ladies...

I actually thought it was not that bad. Yes the bloke interviewing in the gallery was a bit of a strain to watch at times, I'd have preferred say a behind the scenes montage of all the players arriving or something? But I thought the light hearted poke at Grimaldi was ok. I just don't think Corey and Stevie are the best people when it's not talking about hockey. Stick Rick and for example Mosey who both seem like energetic people then I think you'd get more out of it. Interested to see how it develops

I try to remain positive with Panthers, especially with the amount of negativity here on the cage but.....It may be a move in the right direction, but, other than the odd few minutes, that was so cringe-worthy it was painful. Yes GM is the biggest problem, but even the little plug with Lacho skating in and announcing it seems so awkward and forced.

I quite enjoyed it in parts...
For me GM wasn't the problem, the biggest problem was the incredibly boring bloke interviewing on the "Chick Zamick Gallery". He was painful to watch.
Also, whilst I am a big fan of Steve Lee, its clear he doesn't like doing these things and is not a naturally outgoing guy so why get him on for the first show. Why not someone like Clarke?

Yes GM is the biggest problem, but even the little plug with Lacho skating in and announcing it seems so awkward and forced. Agree with the negativity but to be fair last season was a test and the total amount of negative people would only be a very short queue waiting to buy hotdogs and beer on a Wednesday night against the Caps. Compared to the past, Panthers TV is a MASSIVE step in the right direction and needs to be given a chance. It doesn't need to be shot in the theme of a 1970's regional news program and when we are actually mid season having a bad spell it doesn't need to be full of crap, spin and excuses. Lets see how it goes and fingers crossed it will work well.

I'd love to know what poor old Chris Ellis has done to upset sevcik. He may not be everyone's cup of tea but has pretty much single-handedly promoted Panthers through the media over the years and the club should have a lot to be thankful to him for. Anyone who would rather listen to Gary loving the sound of his own voice needs a check up from the neck up. What makes you think he's upset me? Tis rather presumptuous of you. Maybe I just don't think he is any good- TV or radio. Just because my opinion differs to yours doesn't make me right or you wrong or vice versea it is just my opinion. He's single handedly promoted panther's through the media? I think that's more than just a little exaggeration.... I never said said Gary Moran was a good broadcaster. But what I will say is as far as I'm concerned Chris Ellis certainly makes him look good and that takes some doing.

The real life David Brent, so so good.

The show looks cheap, Gary Moran is an idiot and asked the same questions over and over just worded differently and the cringey awards he gives out really bring it down from not so good to proper poo poo. I'd like someone with some kind of ability to not be an idiot to run the show, think it makes the organisation look cheap

Its not the sort of thing that Corey enjoys and it shows it. Perhaps it will improve as more league matches are available for discussion.

Watched the first one it was ok but really not enjoying it so far. Turning it off half way through it was just irritating me. Suppose I'm in the minority and people will enjoy this kind of stuff but to me it's just horrible. Sorry.

I liked the stuff with Swindlehurst at the start but the Grimaldi award stuff at the end & the fact Gary has to put a real emphasis on the sarcasm of it not being related to anyone in real life makes me want to hit my head against something

I enjoyed the locker room more than the above , would like to see more of a Elite league style with all the club getting air time or Premier sports doing something likewise maybe a weekly roundup but free on the website or podcast could be paid for with ads

Sorry but it's just awful. Gave it ten minutes and it had to get switched off........GM is just so cringeworthy and there are only so many times I can listen to the word "definitely" at the start of a sentence !

The moment Gary Moran looks angrily up the stairs and starts his own applause...then says thanks guys. The real life David Brent, so so good. Yeah that is highly cringeworthy. GM needs to make an entrance though, for some reason. I liked the stuff with Swindlehurst at the start but the Grimaldi award stuff at the end & the fact Gary has to put a real emphasis on the sarcasm of it not being related to anyone in real life makes me want to hit my head against something Maybe, Gary? Two birds with one stone, and it'd make must see GMTV. I'll try and get you a ticket for the Chick Zamick Pagoda. The guy on the mic seemed to forget what show he's on... Needs replacing to somebody who dont look camera shy. In fairness to him, the show's name is so stupid and long winded it doesn't exactly trip off the tongue, especially if English isn't your first language I suspect. Some bits of it are OK, it was interesting to see we have a S&C coach (someone to blame when they're all injured 2 minutes into the season ), and Corey's views on GB. But they need more material. Maybe work better when they have a game to look back over.
