I don't think leaving it late is a problem at all. I am happy to wait and hopefully a great signing comes along when everyone else already has a full squad.
A player like werner who we picked up on August 1st shows you can find quality.

Wasn't Wener late arriving? Werner, Fox & Ling all arrived in time for the season opener, but not for any pre-season stuff, Benny was late arriving that year, missing the opening weekend at least |

It wouldn't surprise me if a couple of them came in out of shape this year, I still think some players underestimate us. Some are already in training others still on holiday & honeymoon. Lets face it if they dont live up to the hype in the first few matches they're are sure going to know about it from the fans.

He could injure himself putting his socks on !
