Happy with Braehead's roster and with our last spot still to be decided I'm confident this team can deliver.

Jereme Tendler drops to Germany3 club TÖLZER LÖWEN had 4 great seasons at Hull then an average one at Coventry last season, would have liked 1 of these player i.e. Portwood, Fulton or even Tendler rather than no 11th import

Whens the open top bus tour? #WhoCanStopTheDevils
in all seriousness great re-signing for devils, would have loved him here as he is the complete d-man, hits, fights, scores goals for fun, makes plays the lot.
Certainly shaping up to be a very interesting year with most teams looking very strong, still edging my bets towards Braehead though, especially with the conference system farce

Hotham a good signing. They should be competitive to say the least

I wonder if Cardiff will regret not going for an import netminder.

I wonder if Cardiff will regret not going for an import netminder. The thought had crossed my mind. Id never be happy with panthers having a brit one anyways.

Yep, no doubt Bowns is a decent young keeper but for a title tilt.... Well I'm not so sure. They seem to have recruited real well, so I keep being told anyway, surprised they haven't gone for a top class keeper.

They might be going for the "out gun the opposition" approach and just try to out score teams every same.

It's a bold strategy Cotton, let's see if it pays off for them.

Jeez if Panthers had an import goalie.......that would give them the excuse to go ANOTHER import short.
These very expensive Brits have to be paid for somehow ya know !!!!!!!!

I might be wrong with the totting up re:brit dual nationals, but I think: Stars have 1 import left to sign, Flyers 1 Storm 2 Panthers 3

1 of the caps imports(Judson) requires surgery,so they may sign another depending on how long he is out for.
Storm announcing another signing tomorrow. I'd expect a few more Brit signings from them as well, probably Chilcott and a few guys on 2-ways with the nihl clubs in the area

I wonder if Cardiff will regret not going for an import netminder. Mind you we did win a trophy last season, and came pretty close to the league with Bowns, obviously it gives us a extra import skater, lus Ben has been away in Calgary training with NHL keepers so hopefully that should help, It,s a close call, but Belfast have won titles with Murphy. One thing that's certain it's going to be one hell of a season for everyone.

The only 2 issues I can see for Devils is the '2nd season' problem. There team are already used to each other but complacency can set in. All teams know how tbey set up and play. I still have a slight concern for Bowns too.

I think Bowns is good enough, Belfast won it with a Brit so don't see why they shouldn't. Only issue is if he gets crocked.

Bowns has got better year on year and personally I think he is worth a punt.

I think Clan have pushed the boat out cos they want to compete in Europe..remember the debacle and dodgy signings the Panthers had for a while during the 'damp squib euro campaign'..it was a huge distraction. I think Giants must be favourites to win league with Devils Steelers and Clan running close..Im also not sure about Caps as they look inexperienced with an inexperienced coach..im not sure if they could afford to hang on to their players either and Im sure this is a short term stepping stone only for Emerson..Stars look half decent on paper although coach wise again Lefevbre hasnt succeeded in past couple of years and ex-Fife Chaumont as player coach is risky imo...unless its 'socializing with the ladies' coach...Coventry dont look a top 5 team and the Storm look weakest on paper (how long can they sustain wages if crowds are low?) I am ever the optimist but like the skill balance and leadership tbroughout the Flyers team. Most on here think we'll be rock bottom but I genuinely think we've an outside shout at top 5 and close 2nd in conference.

Could be ideal for them. They seem to score & ship a load of goals. Little bit of emotion & belief may well help.
