If the Nottingham Panthers are ever going to do a webcast, then I think a few thousand folk residing in Wales and Scotland would be very interested buying it!

I don't care about the conference (I think 4 v 5 would work out better for us in the playoffs), but I'd love to spike the Yorkie guns and see them all crying into their orange hankies.

I certainly hope that the players have been told that this is a game you do not lose.

If Gary Moran had said some of the things posted on here, he would be accused of too much spin.

If Gary Moran had said some of the things posted on here, he would be accused of too much spin. True but it's also OK to make personal attacks on GM on here too. If people spoke the way they do about GM regarding anyone else they would be banned but hey ho...

I'd rather Sheffield won the league than Braehead so if Cardiff are out of it then I hope Steelers beat us. The conference title means absolutely nothing. The integrity of the league is far more important.

Can't see Edinburgh getting another surprise result on Wednesday, it's in Cardiff too. Think it'll be 70 points a piece when we play the Steelers.
Think the winner will be Erhardt myself, think Clan chuffed it last night at Murrayfield.

It's a choice of 3. It's either Goon Squad, Goon Squad with an easy route or Simms and his band of bearded men.
Talk about being in between a rock and a hard place. Don't want either to win! But if I had to pick based on the performances I've seen and who's impressed me it'd be the steelers.
One thing I do think is the winner will be the worst league winner there has been for a while. And that's not just me being bitter. I've said it for months. The quality of the top teams has dropped IMO. Cardiff could win the league having lost 11-0 last week. Sheffield could win the league even after that poor spell in post-Xmas. And clan could win the league by not performing against their title rivals but using the conference to their advantage (not their fault). Compare these 3 squads against the Giants of last year and us the year before and there's no competition.

This Braehead team are terrible and in no way on Earth are they the best team in the league. If we all played the same fixtures they would be battling for 4th with Belfast.
I'm happy for Sheff to win the league 100% as long as Braehead don't. It's that much of a joke.

I think calling Cardiff a goon squad is a bit harsh, from what I've seen they've been the best side this year by some distance. They were excellent in the last game at the NIC. It was our choice to go without any real physicality, or rather C&R's choice, people deploying some muscle against us is sensible and predictable.
The 11-0 was an abysmal result, but one blow out coming off the back of a cup win is better than a bunch of defeats and it won't define their season. I'd be disappointed to see Sheffield win a raffle if they had all the tickets, so I really hope it doesn't end up there. Don't think Braehead will win out - Hull & Fife both need the points for the POs, can see at least one defeat.

I'd like to see the Devils win it,best team this year and their fans deserve it too.
And also because,no way are Braehead the best team in the league and as for Sheffield, well no I just dont want them to win anything, ever !

Cardiff aren't out of it Jordanoooo. Steelers have to win this game or they won't win the league. But he is correct that if they had won v Cardiff down there in Wales it could have been a win at our barn. Cos they would have 74 points and Clan can only get 73. Cardiff's loss would have put them back on their heels with having to win the last two games v Steelers again and us.....but I fear Steelers have it on tied points seperation rules?

Sheffield can win the league even if we beat them on Friday. Cardiff and Braehead can still lose games thus not getting points to beat a possible 72.

Cannot believe that any Panthers fan would want the Steelers to win anything - but then again the same can be said for Devils & Clan - unfortunately it is going to be one of them so given a choice between the three of them I would have to choose Devils as they have been the most complete team I have seen this year - I now think it is theirs to lose (how many times has that been said this season??) - Clan I think will bottle one of their games - the game on Saturday will be epic - I am tempted to go as if Steelers have lost against us then it will be all or nothing (depends of course on Devils game on Wednesday - if only we had won three more games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cardiff aren't going to lose at home to Edinburgh on Wednesday and look who plays Cardiff on Sunday though Spik, with everybody knowing what the result needs to be to stop Sheffield winning it. The Saturday game against Steelers is where Cardiffs destiny lies.
