If Kowalski remains fit and healthy and wants to keep going then bring him back without question. Modig is a great goalie, still quite young so if we was to leave him for a year or two he wouldn't have drastically lost form, his performances recently haven't been brilliant but that'll be down to not having much playing time, essentially a back up now.
Mosey is a must, Landry or Wild coming back would be great for us too.. both brilliant in their own way and both reliable. Keep Lee and Oakford too. Possibly Cohen.
Doucet is another i feel we must bring back, shown how effective he can be arriving so late in the season and having to learn Corey's game plan. Benedict, don't need to say why really we all know how good a player he is. Parent, young, quite quick and very hardworking, not afraid to get in the thick of it, has the potential to be a great power forward. Boxill is a must have, so is Farmer.. Farms deserves whatever he asks for, without a doubt our best Brit.
They would be the ones i'd bring back, only 10 players i'd have back without question, 4 being Brits.
I'm surprised but also not surprised Graham hasn't been gassed, not had a good year, never got things going but being such a prolific scorer in 12/13 it's understandable why Corey would be reluctant to let him go though i think he could do with putting performances before relationships.

Kwall Wild (prority) Cohen Landry Higgins Jacina Mosey Doucet Would love to see Salters return. Lepine although I doubt it would happen. Looking at his age and EPL scoring this kid looks like worth keeping tabs on. Ivan Antonov. www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=183997On Antonov: From memory, the kid has some real talent. The one question I'd have is if he is physically strong enough yet for the EIHL. All things being equal (injuries and attitude going well) then eventually he will make it, but maybe not for a couple of years. Antonov is pretty small, not sure he's big enough for the Elite yet. Got the skills though, when I saw Bracknell a few weeks ago he was the only decent player on their team. Never give up chasing the puck and quite often only stops skating when he hits either a player or the boards! Give him some training time with an EIHL team and see how he gets on and then bring him in to the team in a few years would probably be for the best. Cownie & Hook could step up now, and I think they should be next season as long as someone is willing to give them ice time.

Ooohh I love threads like these. Pure fantasy.
Anyhow,
Modig all season, he's clearly a confidence keeper who when content looks excellent. Time to let Kwall graze.
Wild & Landry on D. Both are great at their roles. Need a bit of toughness on D to back them up. A Lepine type for sure.
Benny as captain, great leader. Mosey, Higgins & Doucet. The other imports need to go.
Keep all the Brits, especially Farmer who is amusingly entertaining.

Get rid of Corey, the rest will then sort itself out... all the boys club players will be gone

Get rid of Corey, the rest will then sort itself out... all the boys club players will be gone Harsh but I have been thinking the same over the years and again at several points this year. Obviously none of the EIHL coaches are world beaters but the "not playing to the system" keeps coming up when the same players are spending a large part of the game sat next to him plus two twenty minute dressing room intervals you have to wonder. The problem I notice over the years is the lack of a plan B (all EIHL coaches are guilty of this to a degree) and most of all team motivation. Our good'ish team plays very well and beats everyone on their day *when they want*. The days they don't want bothers the hell out of me. They wont do this or they wont do that? Then for gods sake tell them, they are sitting right next to you!

Yep Fs,tell them and tell us you've told them. All we ever hear when we are poor is......."we did some good things and we worked hard,we got away from the system,we didn't get the bounces though, some rough calls went against us,but we will take it one game at a time and not get too low or too high".
It's like a boring record on repeat again and again, god it's so predictable,I think we could all do Corey's post game interviews for him.
For goodness sake, when their bad.....rip into them, tell them it was crap,it's not acceptable, bench them or leave them out and if it keeps happening tell them heads will roll !
When was the the last time we heard any real criticism of the team,we have had some shocking games this year, but I can't remember a single time Corey was even slightly harsh on the team. You could argue you keep it in the dressing room,in which case what we hear or are fed is just false poo poo !
