BIGGEST GAME IN THE UNIVERSE EVER PLAYED BY MORTALS. NOT ENOUGH CAPITAL LETTERS WILL BE ABLE TO EXPRESS HOW BIG OF A BIG GAME THIS BIG GAME REALLY IS. WHICH BIG TEAM FROM EUROPES BIGGEST RIVALRY WILL BE ABLE TO BEAT THE OTHER BIG TEAM FOR THOSE TWO MASSIVE POINTS THAT ARE UP FOR GRABS.
or something like that...

Don't like to go all Gary (I too often shout "Are you here with Craig Kowa-oh!" at inappropriate times) but given they've managed to steady the ship recently (2pts back from us with a game in hand), this is a big one. Think Corey's run over them will continue though.

The first of 4 games against them in 17 days. Lovely.
Expecting another toughy, especially at their place. They are THE form team at the mo and are coming good at the right time.

Many would argue Panthers have been THE form team since xmas, this weekend steelers beat 2 teams who they d expect nothing less than 4 points, panthers have just taken 4 points off a title rival. No comparison. Looking forward to the game on Saturday already

I thought the same Yotes.
It's five major pens I think equals a ban.

It's because leaving the bench would normally result in a ban, although that does make me wonder why they didn't give a match penalty in the first place.

With only 14 out skaters .... it's going to be tricky

I think this could be one big game too far, a loss wouldn't be a disaster though, still plenty of hockey to be played and we have got ourselves into a good position.
As long as we don't lose both this weekend.

I still like us to win this one.
Although I've not seen this new netminder they've got. With Doyle I'm always confident of several goals for.

I think Sunday's game against the Stingrays could be harder than this one. A point would be great being short benched.

Saturdays game would have been tough even with a full squad.

Saturdays game would have been tough even with a full squad. I agree. Got to worry about our PP on Saturday with Lee, Wild and now Cohen missing. Who will patrol the blueline? Schmidt doesn't look overly comfortable doing it, Berube? Hopefully not. Realistically - i would take a point and no injuries.

We could always revert to the seldom used tactic of finding the spare man at the back post etc instead of just shooting from the blue line. You never know,we might just find a new tactic ! ?

Can't really complain at the moment, panthers are finding ways to win and I hope it continues tonight.

I guess Landry is another possibility?

Couldn't we have Modig on the bench tonight (or have we)? Says Dan on the sheet.
