I've never felt this way in December before but I have to say I'm really looking forward to Summer and putting all this behind us.

Unfortunate news for Clarke and the team.
Perhaps his absence might show his critics his true value to the team.

Unfortunate news for Clarke and the team. Perhaps his absence might show his critics his true value to the team. Let's hope so because I'm getting really tired of the Clarke critics. A fantastic player and a true panthers hero

There's no way you can replace a Brit like Clarkey at this point in a season. He's a top bloke and a top player and I really hope he makes a full recovery and he comes back next season. Terrible blow at a terrible time for panthers. Whoever is breaking mirrors, walking under ladders and opening umbrellas indoors please stop!!

Can't replace him, but we need to be looking to replace his goals somewhere, need our import forwards to start producing or they need replacing.
Very unfortunate for Dave, wish him well in his recovery.

I'm hoping we get in touch with MK and/or Swindon and get Betteridge, Hook & Cownie called up for the rest of the season. Would be nice.

I like Cownie, has the best potential of those three.Everyone needs a chance somewhere

Think that leaves David stuck on 599 all-time games played for the club.
After the 600th point recently (just having passed 300 assists too) a pity the 600th game awaits in the balance.

I like Cownie, has the best potential of those three.Everyone needs a chance somewhere Seen Hooky and Cownie at Peterborough. Hook has more of an offensive upside, for sure. Did see Cownie have a scrap (while still in a cage) against the Steeldogs. Hook's main problem at Phantoms was a lack of end product - the final pass, or a shot - but his puck handling skills and his pace were something to be hold. I've heard it said that the Peterborough talent line started with David Clarke, then Craig Peacock, who was more talented than Clarke in all the age groups. The next is Luke Ferrara, who was more talented than Peaks in the age groups. And following him is Hook.
