Ahh that time again where we see the best of the best grace our ice. Can't wait jokes aside I am really looking forward to this game. 4-2 Panthers at a guess.

There won't be a healthy scratch if we have two out injured,we are allowed 12 imports.

Looking forward to this one now!
How do people think we will line up? For what it's worth my guess would be something like....
BENEDICT GRAHAM ROBINSON
LACHO LAWRENCE JACINA
FARMER PARENT MOSEY
BOXILL
LANDRY SCHMIDT
WILD LEE
BERUBE OAKFORD
KOWALSKI
GREEN

Why have you got Mosey as a 3rd line winger? Hes a d man he only played in the CHL cause we had injuries and Cohen on defence

I think Corey'll rather play Box higher (say where you've got Mosey) than give Oakford a regular shift.

With CN being attack minded I agree that he will play Mosey in a forward position. The line of Benny, Graham and Robinson could do very well.

With CN being attack minded I agree that he will play Mosey in a forward position. The line of Benny, Graham and Robinson could do very well. I just don't see the man who didn't trust Norton enough to not move a forward back, trusting Oakford as a #6 defenceman. Plus he did trust Box to play a regular shift on a decent line in the CHL.

The Brit kids will be busy with their EPL teams - I suspect that Mo will play as a forward (unless Clarke is back) with Boxill being the 10th forward.

If Clarke's rehab has gone to plan he should be back, even if case would imagine limited ice time anyways

'I just don't see the man who didn't trust Norton enough to not move a forward back, trusting Oakford as a #6 defenceman. Plus he did trust Box to play a regular shift on a decent line in the CHL'.
I've already seen enough of Oakford to think that he's more reliable than Norton. He's got good positional sense and doesn't seem overawed. He was playing regularly in France and didn't make the kind of errors that Norton did.

For those who read the Evening post interview with Mosey a few weeks ago Will know that he was a forward until about 5 years ago. That makes him the perfect candidate to play up front if we need a d man to do so don't you think? Whether he trusts Oakford enough at present is another matter....

I see it's going to be another "never at full strength" "battling through injury" "tired after the chl"," too many fixtures" seasons again this year. Glad I didn't get a season ticket.

Have you bought a ticket for this one though DMan? Besides, we're all steam ahead... whatever that means.

Can't make this one, not fussed about the cup but would have liked to have seen the season opener, see what tone we set. I think we'll start well this season, but then cut a load of players, replace them with poor quality, run with a small squad, pick up injuries and play short, bring out the tired excuses, coast to the end of a season and probably sneek a cup. Same as last season basically. Hope I am wrong and we hang onto the likes of Robinson for the season.
Starting the season without a replacement for our top Brit, who we knew would be out injured is not a good start IMO.
