Does anyone have any idea when the fixtures for next season will be announced ? I am guessing the league have not met to discuss this. Does anyone know when they are going to meet up ?
Football seem to get their act together why not ice hockey ?

Meeting is 3rd July, probably announced reasonably soon afterwards.

Cheers Calv. I'm sure it was done and dusted by mid June last year.

Assuming the Cardiff takeover delayed the fixture situation

Referring the point about hockey getting their act together. We have to remember that hockey shares its pad with other entertainment unlike most football teams.

I swear they said the conferences were staying (goodness knows why anyway) but games would be played out evenly. Now I read that a 52 game schedule leaves us playing more games v our conference buddies than games in Gardiner. Does anything get stuck to when said?

We will be playing in Sheffield on Boxing Day. Assume that means the return is Saturday 27th at home.

Usually ends up being that way round, Big Lad. Just 4 more days to wait then, be nice to get more notice on the fixtures, than just the 1 month before the season gets underway for the Panthers!!
Anybody got any more fixture snippets? Guessing Belfast away double header will be mid March again, or will that be changed? Scottish away triple head, will take a guess at end of Sep / beginning of Oct!

(NP) That's why I started the original post to be honest. Would be good to know in advance when the Belfast and Scotland away trips are (if they are going ahead). I understand that arenas have other things but it cannot take that long to sort out fixtures. Having said that if the meeting has been delayed because of the Cardiff Devils takeover then I suppose I can understand but they must get fixtures sorted much earlier in future for me.

I'm happy with the fixture. Not many mid week games and a home and an away double header with the Giants!

Cheers Robbie.
Had a quick look at the away fixtures, and the scottish away triple header & the Belfast away ones are at the exact weekends I guessed! Would have been nice though if they could have been announced them at least a week earlier!
Though I do have an advantage over all you Nottingham based fans when booking flights, in that living in London the flight prices from London Airports aren't going to really increase, until maybe a month before the games are played!

The league delay in announcing so the teams can book up hotels before fans do,!

Yeah forgot, that need to decide where to base myself & decide on a hotel for the scottish triple header... before all the decent ones get booked up!
Whoops... Actual just properly looking at the fixtures now; & realised that misread when the scottish triple header is, was about 4 months out on that prediction!
Could be a costly last 9 games of the season(moneywise), with possibly 7 out of 9 of them being away... (including a possible CC final in that!)
Christmas / New Year period is less sparse than last season, which is good; and less midweek fixtures scheduled at home at the moment!

Glad there's a payday between the Scottish triple and the Belfast double! I'm hoping to do both!
