Hopefully the next lot will be an improvement, good news for the Devils though (at this point, at least).

interesting that it says "It looks certain, though, that the initial team budget Whistle was given to work with, around £6,400 a week"
but will increase to compete with the teams at the top, so guessing ours/sheffield/belfast would be around 8/9/10k per week to put things in perspective a bit
good move for Devils and an exciting prospect

I wonder if Neil Black will be involved with new ownership group in some manner? Freddie Black has already said on twitter that none of their family are involved

I want to know why fans should be worrying about the money they have put in or next season. Is this another broom cupboard/ lost money thing again.,,who wants this guy to stick around as he says?

Wasn't expecting that, good news for Cardiff, not so much for Belfast you'd think.

I'm not too surprised at this. Kelman now gets the chance to part own his own club. He was only GM of Giants, why when Belfast were having financial troubles did he not do the same and buy them I don't know.

GM ' s pal at Giamts moved on.So do we now have a new 'best mates' club or even better , have positive links with two clubs now?
Regards Giants ownership. Is that all sorted now? Seemed like Belfast took a club back from someone who was fighting his corner, as he did buy it surely? Was anything paid back to that owner that they didn't want after his history was unearthed? Perhaps Todd can't buy as its a bit tricky on that count?

Things starting to unravel a little in Belfast without Kelman at the helm I can see things getting very very sad for giants fans this season. Kelman seemed a big reason the core of that team stayed now with him gone I can see the team splitting up not this season but probbly next off season. Good signs for cardiff bad for beflast

Losing him is like removing the heart from that team big shows to fill for anyone nevermind someone who has been out of the game for a good few years just my opinion.

Hopefully this "rivalry built on respect" tripe is scrapped now.
It's not a rivalry. No matter how much the Irish want it to be
And there's no respect. The only person I admired at Belfast was Todd. Cardiff could become a force in the future

Gary'll just shift it to Cardiff, he loves that line.
