I think this has to go down as another "wait and see" signing. Lots of AHL games which is hopefully a good sign - but then we're not allowed to look at stats are we so we'll just have to wait and see.

Has a ok fight card looking at it, Has fought against Ex Panther, Kelsey Wilson, almsot 10 years ago now, and also again Tom Sestito if anyone remembers him at sheffield i think it was Also in the 08/09 he fought against Szwez. Looks like could be a nice signing

Not sure why this is a 'wait and see' signing, the guy looks like an honest grafter who will stand up for his team and put points on the board. Noticed he also had a few games for EC Salzberg, who are not exactly a shoddy outfit!

Looks another solid signing with Corey building a firm base. I reckon the big ones are just around the corner.

Noticed he also had a few games for EC Salzberg, who are not exactly a shoddy outfit! This chap is by no means a tough guy by the looks of it - similar number of career fights to someone like Bruce Graham, and looks to have lost most of the ones he has had. Only two fights in the last 3 seasons. In which case you have to assume he's been signed for his skill level. I think Corey is building the team on the basis that if you're a defensive, low scoring forward in the AHL then you can probably still score points pretty easily in the Elite league if you're asked to, and you should also have a solid defensive side to your game. And this is easier than the other way round - asking a high points scorer to suddenly play a two way game. It may just work, but it's a gamble.

Weird one this. Big unit who skates well but not huge production & not really a fighter either. Looks a centre mainly. Guess a Salters/Francis replacement.

He had better be able to stick up for himself after some of our opponents see that!

Salters replacement it looks like to me - would still like Salters back though myself.
Interesting Lawrence lead Stockton Thunder in the ECHL for both goals and points in 2010/2011 season

I really like the look of this guy, hopefully he will prove to be a top, top signing by Corey Neilson.

In fact I'm usually one of the positive minority around here. Guess I wanted Franny & Fox back. Time will tell.

I agree with you, his stats give nothing away. “He can be a huge offensive contributor in the right context and we’re planning on putting him in that context.” - Im looking forward to seeing what Corey has in mind here. I don't know why but he actually reminds me of an import version of Mathew Myers!

I reckon the 3 centre spots are now taken. (Not looking good for a return of Fox or Francis)
I also think CN is lining up Jacina as the set up man for Bruce on the top line.

I think that there is a feeling that Jacina filled in a lot last year and took on roles he was not accustomed to, so probably there is more to come from him.

Kalus - Graham - Jacina
That would be good.

Not sure how many setup passes Bruce would get from Kalus, he tended to want to walk it in himself.

I agree with the opinion that this guy in a replacement for salters, I'd still love to see salters back, an injury free season he'd put up good numbers and carrys with him his reputation from last season. Chris sounds like he will do well and I'm hoping he does and uses his size and speed to devastating effect when hitting, getting to the front of the net and getting in faces. Don't think he will be our enforcer next season but I'm sure he'll throw hen if needed
