I am not overwhelmed by this news. Never quite did it for me and spent too much time in the penalty box for my liking!

Bit of a flat signing in my eyes. Didn't shine enough for me last season but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

as has been said im very much underwhelmed by this, but I suppose last season wasn't the easiest of season to show what you can do so we will see what he is like over the course of a full season.
Francis and werner need to get themselves signed up quick.

If Corey says he's a fit for next season, then I'm happy.

He's got a lot to prove in my eyes.
Bit of a "meh" signing so far.

He typified the sort of player we needed to upgrade this season if we wanted to be in contention for the league.
Nothing to do with him being played out of position either.
He seemed to have two modes of playing - he either didn't look bothered or tried too hard and took loads of penalties. Neither of them are going to benefit us.
I think this is classic Panthers - oh he's a great guy and trains hard etc. doesn't matter that he was pretty much ineffective.

Bit of a "meh" signing so far. "Meh" about sums it up. I'm hoping that Corey's line about him being played all over the shop is correct and that, if settled in his favoured role, we'll get more from him. We'll see.

If he plays with the form he did in his first for us then he'll do pretty well this coming season if he doesn't then I'm not that bothered! Let's hope for some big headline signing that can make him worth his shirt

I'm quite happy with this signing; he showed he has got skills and is a good winger. You don't play in the NHL and so many games in the AHL by pure luck. I'm still under the impression that there was something behind the scenes going on, perhaps some players didn't get on? I dunno, maybe. Give him a few months at the start of the season and see if peoples opinions change.

here's hoping that we announce Foxy tomorrow to appease the fans as this signing has gone down about as well as a fart in a lift

The first, and second, most misleading initials in UK hockey history Don't get me wrong, I'm not writing him off and hope he proves Corey right, just that we were 32 points off the pace last year, 16 wins in a 52 game season is an awful lot, we need to be improving a fair few areas and I wouldn't have looked at Juice and thought he wasn't improvable tbh.

got to say i agree with general thoughts of everyone else. Not the signing I was hoping for, showed some good skills in first few games then drifted off. Hopefully he can play better than he ended the season. In all fairness the whole team was disappointing so maybe im just being harsh

Good grief. The guy came in half way through the season and played a different position (including defence) with different line mates nearly every week.
Corey and Strachs saw something. That's good enough for me.

I don't think Strachs has been announced as returning yet, has he?

If it wasn't for the fact that we saw him play a handful of games at the end of a somewhat car crash season everyone would be going mental for this signing.
He's played plenty of game in the top leagues in N.America and is averaging over a point a game in better European leagues than ours.
Like I said, we have seen him, and he didn't stand out ridiculously, but he played 28 games for us, and as pointed out above, he played every single position other than N/M. Give the guy playing time on the wing, where he plays, put him with some decent line mates and he should be a more than good enough signing with the stability.

I'm happy to give him another chance. As has already been mentioned by a few people, he hardly had a fair crack of the whip given that he was very much used as an injury replacement and out of position for much of his last spell at Panthers. Besides, if experience has taught me anything about this place its that the players that people fall over themselves over seem to flop whereas those folk slate seem to do well.
