Another Brit jumping ship to the EPL and people wonder why we needed to adjust the import levels.

I'm glad he has left them. He never looked quite right wearing their rags.

Apparently last years playoff win will always be his top career highlight...
If any steelers fans believe that then they're more gullible than I thought

I thought there was some reason Meyers liked/needed to stay in this part of the world? Anyway, good luck to him, I wasn't his biggest fan but he was captain for the start of our recent massive trophy haul.

If his wage demands are like they were reported to be at the Panthers then maybe they decided they can get value for money with someone else. Danny did always want to move back down south

Perhaps adds more weight about Matt Myers going there as well.

Regarding Meyers leaving, I can't say I'm totally surprised. He's been a good servant to both our clubs, but he is coming towards the latter end of his career, I just hope we have a decent Brit replacement lined up, because at the moment I reckon our Brit pack is probably going to be well behind that of Nottingham and Belfast. Regards Doom

Regards Doom He won numerous trophies with us. Including the double-double. Players say these things all the time and it makes me laugh. It'd be a lot easier if they just said it how it actually is

At the end of the day there is only one person that can say which one meant the most to him and that Danny and at the minute he thinks the playoff win with Sheffield was his best.
Personally I couldn't give a rats ass which one he like best. I loved the ones he won with us and hated the one he won with Shuff.

Case in point as to why the import limit needs to go. Would be solid Brit d cover but just too expensive.

A very average EIHL player at best. Were it not for his passport he'd be barely memorable. Sheffield can do better.
