I recall a rival player tweeting on Grimaldi's arrival of what a 'bad egg' he was. That would be former steeler Shawn Limpright who described him as a cancer in every team he's been on.

Just shows you what a nasty piece of work GM is, always there to stir the 'poo' Thinks he's going to get a laugh out of it. Same as when he's always 'steeler' bashing at do's soo bloody boring. No better than Simmsy.. They got caught out with Grimaldi, someone didnt do enough research, apparently he turned up in the dressing room that first match and non of the players had a clue who he was not even the captain & then they are expected to play with the guy, no wonder there was unrest. Anyway enough about him, he's gone we move on.

Grimaldi has the history for this so I'm inclined to think the issue was with him. However unless the club is willing to release the full story I think the least said the better.
It's not fair on either party. Grimaldi I think will be trying to stay out of it.
Interesting to see him trying to troll Simms only to be shot down. Twitter is the best and worst thing ever to happen to professional sports.

Its hardly ground breaking news of his dislike to Grimaldi either, Simms has made it common news for his dislike of ex steelers over the years too. I was told what Grimaldi was like before he played his first game that he was bad news and blinkered fans on twitter were still defending him because of his passion on the ice etc, yet he was as bad as they came off it. The bit about no one knew who he was is absolute garbage, he played in the CHL previous, quite a common minor league not some recreational one up in the north of Canada !!

Ian, I didn't mean the players hadn't heard of him in general they hadn't got a clue he was turning up. He just walked into the dressing room and told them he was playing when they asked who he was. As for the rumours about him being a bad egg well that came from Penner and his brother on twitter talking to friends over here.
