Im happy with Wild - maybe we had signed all our d by the time he was available or maybe he was asking for too much.

www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=17807no rumour, but looking for players with a good goalscoring record and putting points on the board t replace Robbo when he goes. Adam Miller just been released by his team in Austria, was linked with EIHL a couple of seasons ago - would be a great signing and similar ECHL numbers to Mathieu Roy at Sheffied
Yeah, looks a good player.
If we are serious about winning the EIHL title this season and getting back into the CHL next year I think NB could do with digging deep and bolstering the roster a bit. Especially following Belfast's recent signing and Sheffield's good start to the season.
Any or all of these 4 free agents would add something imo......
Matt Smaby
Danny Bois
Ryan Ginand
Zenon Konopka Bugger, Sheffield sign Bois. Looks a cracking player and IMO would have been a perfect fit for our roster.

Only Konopka would eclipse Bois imo. We need something soon!

I don't think that would be a good signing if I honest. Yes he is tough but we need someone that can score goals and set them up.

I couldn't believe how poor Rawlyk looked against us, in the recent game versus Coventry. I would take Wild over Rawlyk any day of the week, admittedly on limited evidence.

Ok I honestly didn't look close enough I was just looking at his past few seasons and they was NHL. So yh I see where you are coming from lol.

Brett Perlini has just been released by his ECHL team. Im sure someone more informed will clarify, but i think his qualifies as a brit in the EIHL?
Would be very useful to have, still only 24

He's born in Canada but 1st 2 years of hockey were with Guildford. I would guess he would count as a duel national import rather than a Brit but in never sure with these things. Stats

Fred Perlini's debut is in my all time top favourite memories of Panthers.
Massive entrance and then bangs a goal in early doors.
Such a great character and player of that era.

If Brett would be classed as a Brit then he'd be a great capture, young, big body, potential to be a long time player. Plus the UK is the only place he'll have a chance of representing internationally, same with Mosey and he's already said he'd like to stay and become eligible for Team GB one day.

Are we discussing Zenon Konopka? I know he's got no NHL team this year but that still seems a stretch! He's near-ppg in the AHL, so he'd be a blast in this league.

Are we going to get this every time someone is released, fired or quits on their clubs?

There is a difference between "my mates grans goldfish says we've signed this player" and " this guy has been released from a league somewhere, he'd be a good fit" Perhaps 2 threads? "Players released and would fit well with us" and "Rumours" There was that guy who knew all the signings. wasnt he at the Visa office that all the clubs use?

We could have had him in the summer......but our esteemed coach didn't want him ! Is that our esteemed coach that is currently challenging for the leagues top spot whilst progressing well in the challenge cup? I'll admit I had concerns about Neilson at a couple of stages this season but he's pulled it back.

Speculation and rumors are two different things. If we could have a sticky for each it'd make it easier to track.
