Been told he's going MK, shame he could have been an energy guy for us throw some hits fight and take a better opposing player to the box with him.

www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=17807no rumour, but looking for players with a good goalscoring record and putting points on the board t replace Robbo when he goes. Adam Miller just been released by his team in Austria, was linked with EIHL a couple of seasons ago - would be a great signing and similar ECHL numbers to Mathieu Roy at Sheffied

Yeah, looks a good player.
If we are serious about winning the EIHL title this season and getting back into the CHL next year I think NB could do with digging deep and bolstering the roster a bit. Especially following Belfast's recent signing and Sheffield's good start to the season.
Any or all of these 4 free agents would add something imo......

Ginand retired in the summer IIRC, he was also a cancer on the Blaze team last year! Hardly any of the players liked him

He was at the Chicago NHL training camp. I guess this would either mean Mosey being permanently up front, or one of the import d being released to be replaced by a forward.

I presume if Paul does come back, Dundee will have some sort of deal in place like Panthers did with Farmer and other before hand, meaning he can only sign for Dundee unless they don't need him/have space for him.

What kinda deals did they beforehand? Farmer signed a deal in the summer with the panthers before he headed off to Alaska allowing him a shot in the ECHL, if that failed he'd come back to the Panthers, press release here: www.panthers.co.uk/content/robert-farmer-coming-back-panthersAlso, Ben O'Connor had originally signed for Belfast before a deal in Kazakhstan, there press release below: www.belfastgiants.com/archives/oconnor-departs-before-becoming-a-giant/With Swindlehurst originally signing a 2yr deal with Dundee in the summer, then heading off to America, I presume they would have something in writing that if he comes back within the 2yrs then he'll have to head back there!

Thank you Wyle E, I like these kind of deals. It allows the guys to give the big leagues a go with a safety net.

Would be nice to see kalus return when robbo leaves so we had right number of imports so he would take polectiaks place

When we won the league we had DAB as a spare. I don't think you can win the league now without a spare with the injuries we have been getting.

True FS. DAB worked so well as a spare because not only was he more than good enough he was also happy with his role as a genuine 'spare' import. He didn't expect to part of any squad rotation or play 'x' amount of games and was happy to be called upon as and when required. It might be unlikely to get somebody in of that quality who is happy to sit in the stands. Having said that, the likelihood of sitting in the stands for weeks on end is unlikely with our injury record the past season and a bit.

Perhaps we should have signed Kevin Bergin,he's just swapped French clubs.
He would have been a handy spare if he was up for it,forward/Dman and tough too.

No thanks. I can't see what Bergin would add to this team if I am honest.
