Hi just a quick question really I am just wondering who the majority of Panthers fans will be cheering for. Personally it has to be one of the Scottish teams for me the only complication would possibly be if the final ends up Giants vs Steelers as not sure what the semi-finals will be.

Fife in the first semi.
Braehead in the second semi.
Then sit back and watch the Giants take the Steelers apart in the final.

Belfast v Fife - erm, fairly obvious
Braehead v Shef/Cov - again, fairly obvious.
So, the Scots get my vote in both of the semis.
The beer stand gets my vote for the rest of Saturday.

Fife in the first and Braehead in the second. I actually think we will have an all Scots final with Fife being crowned Champions, they are already calling the weekend Scottingham on Twitter I am really looking forward to it despite our exit.

I may slightly cheer on the underdogs in any particular game (whoever that may be) but that's about it. The POFW as a neutral is obviously missing something - the passion, the tension etc - but you also gain something, I find. It can be quite relaxing...

I won't join in chants, but ill clap to encourage the underdogs. I'd love for fife to pull of the greatest Playoff victory in EIHL history!

Dont care as long as the Steelers dont win. Didn't take long, eh? If this was an episode of QI, there'd be a klaxon going off.

To Sheffield:-
What's it like to see a crowd?
When did you last win a Cup?
Three years, no cups, three years, no cups
To Belfast:-
Where's your Grand Slam Gone, where's your Grand Slam Gone?
Have you ever seen the Giants win The Slam?
In the city, the Panthers city, the Giants lost the Cup

Technically speaking the title was not won on our ice it was won later on in the evening when the other results went the Giants way rather than When won the title the season before was actually on the night when the hooter went.

Dont confuse them even more, I know its funny but its cruel. The fans already think conference is a major trophy even if their players dont.

When the Giants skated off the ice at the NIC they hadn't actually won the league. Later results gave them the title. Pedantic but true.

I said weeks ago that the final would be Giants v Steelers and that Steelers would win the playoff's. They have come into some good form recently. Other than that Fife would get my support, the arena is going to be rocking (hopefully) and I just hope both Scottish teams give a good account of themselves and aren't completely outplayed.

Just going to enjoy the hockey but would love to see Fife win it. They have been fantastic over the past couple of months, they have a great bunch of supporters and I`m sure they will have the place rocking over the weekend. I`m sure they will really go for it and, if they do get to the final, I`m hoping to see some proper old time hockey.
