Yes Yotes, thankyou. Just seems a bit dodgy to me, i was always suspicious that Steelers seemed to get decisions in their favour most the time even before i was told Tony Smith had connections to them and the EIHL! I know the EIHL don't have a great reputation for being the most professionally run league but when you have an owner of a club also the Chairman of the League!? Seems suspect to me. I love to kick Steelers as much as anyone but..... Neil Black has also held the position of Chairman of the EIHL too. Then that just reinforces what a joke the EIHL is. Surely it should not be allowed that the owner of any club can also hold the position of Chairman of the league?

and that is the problem..the owners have control which is a barrier to any proactive forward thinking with regards to developing the game..why would they want to shell out for better refs or training..new properly elected body needs set up..including fans representatives

There seems to be a great disparity in penalties going down at Braehead. Farmer gets 2+20 for instigating and Hayward gets 5, Henley gets 5+ gmae for roughing and Frank gets 2+2 for roughing.
We will have to wait to hear properly how it went down but early indications are that these comments are backfiring.

Farmer got 5 for fighting and 2+10 for instigation. Nothing unusual there.
Henley gave Frank a good hiding.

Does Corey have any friends in Scandinavia who can recommend some players for next season?

Thommo ? I think our Eurosceptic friend was being sarcastic. It's a little hard to tell.

Nope, no point signing tough old school hockey players. The leagues going non fighting so may as well sign players more used to the European style.

Exactly, these are some of the best players.
Tbf Wallenberg and molin were allowed to focus on skill because the likes of shmyr had their backs.

K-wall back stopping a team of Molins, wallenburgs and kalus' under the current rules = title town.
That's my point.

this season has been the most poorest in seasons past. I mean since M. Hanson hung up his skates (Besides DC's testimonial) he has done nothing to protect any of the players and slapped ban after ban out to everyone and anyone for the slightest taps and pushes. I mean besides Campbell's (Hull) blatant disrespect and look at the teams who have lost quality players because of it. Harvey (coventry) possibly Henley (come the summer) and other big D-Men (apologies to other teams if I left anyone out).
The Referee's have been in golfing terms way below par this season. I agree not just because its GM but as a Hockey fan. I saw the winter games and said, "Are our refs watching?"
In the list of officials for the Olympics there was NOT 1 British Referee listed (in the men's games)doesn't that tell us something?
I believe that in these so called "supplementary reviews" there should be Hanson, The Game Referee, and Also two BHL refs to decide the outcome and should have a vote in all favor before deciding the outcome of a ban.
The supplementary reviews have been nothing but trouble all season. Its like Hanson chooses all the penalties to his liking and its been that way all season. that to me is not 'Fair Play'
