We are playing Belfast, right.
From the OS. "There will be a live auction on the third floor of the arena after the home game against the Braehead Clan this Sunday".

It appears this game is NOT the live game on Premier Sports as originally advertised.
A bit annoyed by this.

Have a better opening 10 minutes. Hit everything. Take our chances. We can win this. Werner in warm up too.

Craig Kowalski 0 Belfast Giants 1 end of first. Shots on goal 18-3 in 1st period. They've had more shots than we've had passes.

1-2 end 2nd. Slightly better, but only slightly. Kowalski being leaned on heavily.

We are awful and deserve to be losing. Second period a fraction better but there hardly any effort going into this game. I thought the motto was one game at a time ? Seems to me we are focused on Tuesday.

Playing seven defence is such a waste. Especially when we have headless chickens up front.
The only reason for Loyns to still be on defence is if neilson is looking to close out the game on tues, which I sincerely hope he doesn't sit back right from the start.

Ive seen plenty of comments claiming we are holding something back for Tuesday and I just dont believe it. If we win on Tuesday we are going to have to face Belfast so surely it would make sense to lay down a marker now. Giants are a brilliant team this year, if Steelers and Panthers had had better luck with our injuries I still think Giants would be heading for the League title (maybe with less of a lead.)

Awful. Embarrassing. Half hearted pathetic performance. Thankfully k-wall turned up. Fully deserved his mom but I wouldn't be sharing the beers if I were him. At least the kit man won't need to worry to much about getting sweat stains out of the shirts.

The whole team should feel ashamed of themselves. They look disinterested the minute that puck dropped, they didn't seem bothered we lost they was just counting the clock down. Kwall should be the only player paid this weekend the rest need to seriously think about what just happened in that game. 9 shots in 40 mins proves how interested we was in playing.
Good seats still available for Tuesday though remember folks !
On the other hand, Congratulations to Belfast a solid team with some great players on your inevitable league title you deserve it.

Absolutely shocking .....probably one of the worst I have seen in many years. Clueless from both the players and more worryingly the coaches.
Credit to Belfast they have a great team this year - but I will hazard a guess that they didn't think we would be as poor as we were.
Don't think they got into top gear all night whilst we were chasing shadows all of it.
Kwall absolutely immense and stopped a rout with some cracking saves......will be a sad days when he finishes!
Thought Steve lee had an absolute shocker even more so than the rest of the d, and that's saying something. Over the weekend where was Matt Ryan amongst others.
Bloody fuming at the way we just handed it them....it's been a long time since I felt we were outcoached, but this weekend we were most definitely.
Dump the puck into the corner with no one chasing or even close enough to get too. They come straight back at us with a number of different ploys and our d was non existent.
Fuming!!!,

Someone started a thread about next season, who would you want back, after this weekend if there are more than three(includind K-Wall) then you'd better think again because I don't want more of this next season.

Didn't deserve to win either games! I mean 15 shots in 3 periods (or there abouts) shocking! No intensity from forwards! We don't even look like scoring! It's very sad! Playing Lyons in D is stupid especially when we are struggling for fire power up front! And Norton literally having no shifts and having to keep warm on the bench is a disgrace he hasn't done anything to deserve lack of shifts! And IMO has been one of the most consistent D men in the team, just does his job! I'm hoping players fix up in this Tuesdays game otherwise we are not winning!

Embarrassing. Forechecked out the game. Belfast are a good solid team, disciplined, organized, well coached, they work hard and always support the man in possession - undoubtedly worthy champions but I did expect us to give them a game, and we didn`t, K Wall played them on his own. We can forget about winning any trophies this season on that performance.

Giants are a brilliant team this year, if Steelers and Panthers had had better luck with our injuries I still think Giants would be heading for the League title (maybe with less of a lead.) Agree entirely, even full strength I don't think we'd lay too much of a glove on them. They don't give you the chance to play, don't let you into the game. Keefe's workrate sets the standard and the rest follow, and they're very good players to go with it. Find them hugely impressive tbh, would be delighted with a Panthers team who could put that sort of game together. As Shaun says above, dump and don't chase isn't going to cut it. If we do make the CC final we'll need to put in a huge shift. Agree with Shorty too, why was Lynn Loyns at the back? A complete waste of his talents and he's not even all that good in that position, IMO. If Werner was only going to play a small role then fair enough, but he seemed to be out there for a full part. Very odd.

Very poor tonight. Only Kowalski deserves any credit at all. No intensity and woeful passing from the off. The forward lines were especially bad, consistently lost out on the boards, won very few face offs and incapable of creating anything in front of goal. I was bored to death too.

You think some of those out there stretch our budget?? lol An upgrade on the rec hockey defense would have been nice unless they have all been upgraded from Smart cars to Bentleys this year.
