I doubt anyone else will be coming in. I reckon this is the roster we ll see the season out with unless anyone else jumps ship

That's Wren, Capraro, Anderson, Makala and now Jensen who have gone. Never known a season like it.

Maybe the pressure of playing under an international spotlight at the "World Famous National Ice Centre" is just too much for some players.

Not really no. the only reason we have had such a high turnover is because we have been decimated by injuries. The only players we would probably have replace if not for this would have been Wren and Capraro and we normally change 2 players during the season. Conway, Saari, Makela and Anderson were only on the roster because of this nothing what so ever to do with anything behind the scenes.

The wording of the OS article implies to me that they are far from impressed with this. Thinly veiled disgruntlement whilst retaining a veneer of professionalism. Nice. Something smells iffy.

Another along with crapero who virtually retired about 5 weeks ago. Started well, then crumbled, heart not in it so best off out the door. Thanks for the first month or so.
We need a replacement, we need a squad and pressure for starting places or rotation.
Get a sniper to partner kalus and another tough d man

Our very own Jumpin' (ship) Joe... Can't say I'm all that impressed, unless he has a season ending injury I can't see why he couldn't see the season out. Never mind.

I've just been called by the club and asked if I have some skates.

Slightly surprising but don't forget we got Jensen after the season started, while not playing for another club. Maybe it was a last throw of the dice coming here and he's had enough now? Bizarre.

Does anyone know how these players are signed, how it works? Are the signed on short week to week contracts?

I was under the impression that Jensen came in at the same time as Conway, on a short term visitors' permit, so could only stay three months before returning to the USA to get a visa if he was to finish the season. If so, I think his time might have been nearly up.

Rent , medical care and wages paid whilst you recover then didn't fancy returning to work - not a good thing to have on your CV Joe

In Asiago some fans had a large banner saying " Jensen Eternal Loser", I wonder if he did the same to an Italian team?

The banner was held up by the Asiago ultra's because Jensen had scored the winning goal against them in a cup final.
Tend to agree with them now.....

However, a Cup final goal scoring I fear is a winner, so an odd banner in this sence. The part about taking rent, medics etc before moving on is a good point and probably reason for the Panthers comment we can read into.

Least we know why the club were so annoyed by his decision. Apparently he emailed Nielson when he was back home in America to say he was "retiring".
This was in today's programme.
