I have a feeling the barmy army chant will ring out here. Tailor made for a place like Hull, take your throat sweets with you folks.

Thinking of going to this - anyone know if it is likely to be a sell-out?

Thinking of going to this - anyone know if it is likely to be a sell-out? Doubt very much it'll be a sell out. It wasn't a sell out at the end of last season when we went up there chasing the title. Although we did outnumber the Hull fans that day.

Stingrays are asking fans to donate gifts for sick children and are also doing a teddy toss at the end of the game. Full details from their website...

Also the Wittington and cat Pub, which some of the fans use before the game, is Closed, as it has suffered serious flood damage from the toehr week, when the Humber burst its banks
The nearest Pub is Green Bricks or Minerva which is on the other side of the Marina, about a 10 min walk from the rink There is a Weatherspoons in the City centre , just past the Ibis Hotel/Bingo Hall

Cheers, Just noticed one called the William Wilberforce, its a Lloyds bar part of Wetherspoons, says its very near the arena? Its about 10/15 min walk from the rink. There are 3 weatherspoons Admiral of the Humber... which is in the City centre, near the Cecil BIngo Hall/Ibis hotel ( head for the city centre over the roundabout and its the 2nd set of traffic lights turn right (past the bingo Hall) its the next building 3 John Scotts which is in the old town Lowgate/market place .. slightly better clientel go in there !(head off towards the roundabout.. but turn right go past the holiday inn... follow that road, untill you get to a traffic light junction, and cross the road, passed the king William statue... the 3 john scotts is at teh end of that road and the William Wilberforce which is also in the old town at the top end of whitefrigate.turn right at the roundabout cross the road at the 1st pedestrian crossing, go passed the Princes quay, shopping centre, and turn right down whitefrigate, lloyds is at the bottom of the pedestrian area(little bit of history, opposite Lloyds is a pub called the George, on a street called Land of Green Ginger, and it has the worlds smallest Window !) Chiquitoes do discounted food with a Match Ticket Jaz bar is the Hull Stingrays sponsor this season and a few fans are using that pub, it is near 3 john scotts, and the food is a lot better than Weatherspoons and just as cheap (follow same directions as 3 john scotts, Jaz bar is on right hand side half way down the road }

Has anyone watching the webcast got an echo. the commentator is repeating himself in the background around 5-10 seconds behind the play?
