Hello all,
I'll be out in Asiago for BBC Radio Nottingham.
We're still working out the details of our coverage at this point, but will let you know.

@nphockeylive will also be covering the event.
Probably following the same pattern as the previous weekend: Non-Panthers games on our backup account @nphockeylive2 with Panthers games on @nphockeylive.

Have a good time to those going and cheer on the boys. I don't know much about the individual players but from looking at their rosters the amount of players is huge! They seem to have enough players for 4 D pairings and 5 forward lines.

Isn't there a limit as to how many can dress in a game?
Something like 2 NM, 6 D, 12 F?

IIHF allows 22 players on the bench, 20 skaters and 2 netminders.

i just hope the players dont come back either injured or knackered... personally hope we put on a brave performance but i am alot more concerned (as it seems most of my fellow fans are too) regards our domestic competitions than a jolly in europe...
For me a repeat of last year is much more important that european success and given that we are outgunned in this round we stand no chance of progressing further if by some miracle we pass this round and all it will do is give an increased chance of injury and tiredness..

Agree with Tex!!!! As I was the only one who thought we were going to win on Sunday after the second period I think our boys will put on a show that will make us all proud, on our day we can match the best and with the Panther army cheering them on I am sure the team will respond and carry us to glory - we will fight them on the beaches etc etc

Very shortsighted texpef, if the game in this country is to progress, we need to try and push the boundaries in the CC. Yes, it is frusrating picking up injuries but if we accept a birth in the competition, we have a duty to the Elite League to try our best. This way we have a chance of attracting better imports, who can raise the level of the game in this country, and hopefully help the British players progress further so that we may eventually qualify for the Olympics. If you are happy to stay a backwater hockey nation then fair enough. If, as many on here seem to think, we are prioritising the CC, then it is hardly 'a jolly in Europe' is it.

That's got to be just a simple spelling mistake, it makes sense if it reads ; everyone except Kowalski and Werner is ready to play.

But they mention Wren having a broken foot not travelling. I wish they'd not do this... I read it as "Everyone expects Kowalski and Werner to play" :/ bloody panthers grammar

However now reading the line after it mentions them skating to see how they are on Friday. Still good news I suppose! I just got too jolly seeing the words Werner and play in the same line!
