<Link to Panther OS>So it looks like:- Should be playing this weekend : Wren Maybe playing part of this weekend : Clarke Definitely not playing this weekend : Capraro, Henley, Kowalski & Werner But the good news is that at least some of those last (maybe all?) could be back for the Sheffield double-header weekend? Badly short-handed going into Fortress Fife, though...

So, worse case scenario:- Conway Green
Lee Makela Murray Weaver Norton
Lachowicz Francis Salters Ryan Loyns Jensen Saari/Boxill Wren Benedict
I still think we can come away with 4 pts this weekend

if i was Clarke id sit the weekend out so that he doesn't risk getting any more injuries before his testimonial. it'd be a shame for him to be ok to skate and then get injured this weekend and miss it!

What a load of tripe, and I'm sure David would agree too. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one

I was at training on Thursday and saw Clarke and Wren skate. Wren looks just about ready to return to action where as from my point of view Clarke didnt exactly look too good, looked fairly tired but seemed fairly good when handling the puck and shooting ect... I would expect him to play parts of the Edinburgh game but obviously im not a physio or Clarke himself so i dont know but that is what i would expect after what i saw on Friday. Also noticed two players training with the squad who had cages on and i couldnt really tell who they were but they were both wearing Panthers training stuff except helmet. One wore black helmet with white number 8 (we have yellow numbers) the other was wearing a red helmet with white number 11. Didnt see too much of Makela but he is quite a big guy and he doesnt look like a soft player.

Clarke will be fit to play a full part this weekend and obviously that takes priority over Tuesday night.
Hopefully he will bang some goals in, bring home the 4 points and then have a brilliant time on Tuesday.

As already touched upon, what a crock. Clarke is a consummate professional and if he were fit to play this weekend he would, even if picking up a knock meant missing his testimonial. Competitive games always come before an anniversary knock about with some mates.
