Without question a battering for my team the blaze, absolutely atrocious at the back end defence wise, letting opposition players skate through the neutral zone attacking at their own leisure, your players could come out wearing slippers and reading the local paper,to think soderstrom was a defenseman all his career, sat behind the bench with thommo for 3 seasons and we have a sieve like defence, there are only a handful of players fit enough to wear the blaze shirt, griffin, selby, tanaka, ginand and Harvey, both the Henrich brothers especially Michael have bought nothing to the blaze,Adam looks like he's been on a diet of planet ice pies and hot dogs cannot believe he came back from the summer in this condition, seems to spend all game now bitching at Linos and refs about calls that don't go our way.tanaka may be a cheap option but he's been a shining light hugs work rate is off the scale along with ginand and Harvey, the latter being the only physical player who lays the big hits,we are severely missing Olson, chalmers is still way off being fit, lost kallstrom to a shoulder injury in the defeat to the giants.to top it all off we called on the services of fatboy James pease to cover this weekend against Cardiff,he was actually put out on the pp unit, lol, lol. If panthers don't win this you don't deserve to win the league10-0 panthers.a disgruntled and annoyed blaze fan enjoy your 2 points.

We play the way we have been...a MASSACRE....
only way we are going to get something out of this is we coax Scott Stevens out of retirement and partner him alongside a clone of Neil Martin at his finest.
quite possibly double figures for Panthers

Predictions of doom from the Blaze fans probably means this will be a tight game.

Predictions of doom from the Blaze fans probably means this will be a tight game. Apparently not... according to one moron on the Blaze forum (and I quote) "Getting a result against guys that pay £4000+ more than we do is always a big ask". £4000+ more? Is that per season, per week or per minute? How come everyone else but us knows all of the financial dealings of our team? I might make a complaint!

Well, that'll explain why we couldn't beat Dundee...how could we compete with their budget?!

That was very, very poor....and very dull. For a game against our supposed rivals why was it practically non-contact?
If Corey was annoyed after we won a game last weekend, I can't imagine him being too pleased about managing to snatch defeat from the jaws of an easy victory tonight.
I expect after that some players will be on their last warning - if not already on their way.
And just what's happening to UK ice hockey?? Are all these suspensions making players too scared to make contact? Are they all just too friendly?? Do they not care??
Whatever it is, it's making for very dull games.

4-2 up and then Blaze score with hardly any cover in front of Kwall. Poor defending. However at that time passes kept on going astray. What should have been a 4 point weekend winds up as 1. And I would not say that this is a good Blaze team- apart from Tanaka. Harvey at the end was a disgrace.

There's only so many wins that'll we'll get from playing poor. The way we were gonna beat a blaze side lacking Olssen was being physical and we didn't do that. We missed Henley who would have mauled Harvey at the end. For me, the period was ok, until we lost Clarke and it fell apart faster than a Jenga tower.
Bad weekend however we have to improve or we won't even get 1 point against Dundee!

He ran KWall good and proper then proceeded to mouth off to the fans behind the bench. A oomplete tool.

We have been posting after matches that we were fortunate to get the two points and it seems our luck has run out. The whole performance can pretty much be summed up by the fact that nobody went after Harvey after his hit on kowalski. Sent from my HTC One using proboards

Can't argue with much of that sadly I was bored even when we were winning. That would have to be the most lacklustre, non contact performance for a long time. Even Salters didn't play a physical game. Losing is one thing but losing in that manner to a very average (no disrespect) Blaze side is very disappointing Hope Clarkey is ok, Logan jnr saw him being loaded into an ambulance on a gurney.

After the Riga game is was always going to be hard to come any near that entertainment, unfortunately is was the complete opposite of last weeks match.
It also don't help when it is our 5th game in 8 days. When we know we are going to be in a cup like last week we should have spare imports to cover injuries (Henley) Tiredness (imo Salters today looked shattered. Heck if Steelers can have 14 imports at a time why arent we doing it ?
Im not too bothered about the loss today, we got one point luckily. But we have been riding our luck like people have already said in our previous league games it was only a matter of time.
How Harvey got away with what he did too I dont know ...
