£550!? And travelling on a bus?!?! LOL good luck with that one!!! I also suspect that taking into account all travel and accommodation costs for travelling independently, most people will get pretty close to this figure. With all the grief that goes with doing it yourself. Really?? I've got a return flight from Gatwick to Verona with British Airways for £80. Hotel from Thursday until Monday in centre of Asiago for £130. Return train to Gatwick from Nottingham for £30. Return transfers from Verona to Asiago for £35. So that's a total of £275, after I've paid for game tickets i'll probably be looking at a grand total of around £310! A mere saving of £240 and on no train for 26 hours!! Incidentally anyone on the British Airways flight from Gatwick to Verona on Thursday afternoon at 1:15pm?

Note use of the words "most" and "pretty close" in my original post, not "no-one" and "anywhere near". And a £30 return train ticket Nottingham to Gatwick is a bargain. As is £45 a night for a hotel. Hope it has a bed.

Not particularly difficult to book these things nowadays either. The £550 doesn't even include tickets either, am i right?

You say with tickets and everything included. Are you referring to plane tickets, match tickets, or both? If match tickets, have I missed some information somewhere?

You just have to email the Asiago secretary. I have reserved 5 for our group for collection on the Friday afternoon.

Does anyone want to share a car hire from Venice to Asiago from the Stanstead flights, we are travelling on the Friday morning and returning Monday morning. There are 3 of us but if 2 others want to share we can all squeeze in, we are not taking much luggage

If (probably a big if) we have everyone fit and available for Italy we could go with a roster looking something like this.
Jensen Loyns Ryan
Salters Francis Lacho
Wren Benedict Clarke
Saari Boxill Capraro
Henley Lee
Makela Werner
Weaver Murray
Norton
Kowalski
Conway
Green

On the point of this European away tournament. If anyone is going who is into stats and can get me these details I would be very much grateful. On Panthers players only. 1) Players dressed for EACH game. 2) Scorer's and assists to goals/ same with penalties awarded 3) Who plays in goal and if there is a change of net minder the time they do so OR even if one leaves the ice for minutes in play.

The IIHF site will tell you all that I would've thought Spik. Looking at the game sheets from the Nottingham comp, they even give who was on the ice for every goal for a bit of plus/minus.

Why the hell did I not realise this?....thanks. Good job I am a member of this cage forum.lol Assume that the details for the last round are there also. I did ask an 'official' from our club for help but you can guess that the answer was very limited ....er short in response. More positive stuff as usual from fans. Ta.

Cheers......The biggest difficulty for me is now getting the same details from the Rotterdam tournament.Have asked Rotterdam tournament organisers by email but as yet not heard...so usual request to anyone if they are aware of this also...Not been put in the home programme like the Continental/Aladdin Cup details were.
To add,,,Picked up the IIHF stats and yup they are slightly different to Panthers program stats. Mainly pims to players being sent off (probably 2 instead of 5 being given by the club) after fights and Henley's was different too.

A song for Italy for the travelling hoards....
Sha la la la la la la la (PANTHERS!) Sha la la la la la la la (PANTHERS!) Sha la la la la la la la
When the day is dawning, On a Gatwick Friday Morning How I long to be there With Clarkey who's scoring for me there Every Hockey city Where I hang my hat Ain't as half as pretty, As where my team is at
(Chorus) Is this the way to Asiago? Every night I've been hugging my pillow Dreaming dreams of Asiago And Kowlaski who saves for me Show me the way to Asiago I've been weeping like a willow Crying over Asiago And Brent Henley who blocks for me
Sha la la la la la la la (PANTHERS!) Sha la la la la la la la (PANTHERS!) Sha la la la la la la la And My team who waits for me
There's a fan base singing With a song of joy coz were wining For the great Matt Francis And the goals he’s scoring for us Just beyond the blue line There's an open lane and he keeps on skating Through the checks and slashes
(Chorus) Is this the way to Asiago? Every night I've been hugging my pillow Dreaming dreams of Asiago And Chris Murray who shoots for me Show me the way to Asiago I've been weeping like a willow Crying over Asiago and Saari who skates for me
Sha la la la la la la la (PANTHERS!) Sha la la la la la la la (PANTHERS!) Sha la la la la la la la And my team who waits for me
