I'm just about giving up here... every single bloody hotel I try comes back as being fully booked! Is there a single one left anywhere in Asiago? Ridiculous... My Steeler mate mentioned a good hostel if you're willing to rough it?

Seems to be hotels available, but upto ten miles outside of Asiago. You have to get there from the airport anyway so you`ll probably need to hire a car. Its looks to be a right one horse town, the population is only about 6500.Lets have a Panthers invasion

Just found this one and we're booked for the weekend - slightly more expensive than others but 2 min walk from the rink! 100 euros (roughly £80) a night for double room. www.hotelerica.it/eng/home.php

I imagine a lot of us will be on the same plane. Is anything being sorted regarding group transport from the airport to Asiago?

We're going Stansted to Treviso and have hired a car - not expensive, especially with 3 or 4 of us.
Could be a convoy of Panther fans heading to Asiago!
Booked the Milano a few weeks ago :-)

To be fair to NPSC on the pricing issue, that does include more days/nights than most people who will be flying over... Unfortunately, that also means people would have to take more days off work (would rule me out for a start).

£550!? And travelling on a bus?!?! LOL good luck with that one!!! No, it's a coach. Slight difference. And knowing Skills, it'll be a sight nicer than Ryanair. And it's 6 nights away. So 6 nights accommodation, all travel sorted (no airport delays/closures) and travelling in style, for £550, doesn't sound so bad to me... I suspect the SC aren't making much on the deal. I also suspect that taking into account all travel and accommodation costs for travelling independently, most people will get pretty close to this figure. With all the grief that goes with doing it yourself. It's a free country, you don't have to go...

The NPSC are not running this coach, we've worked with Skills to get a package together, it's their coach trip.
It does seem steep if you look at the total price, but the cost includes add ons that individual travellers won't pay, such as a drivers wage & hotel for 6 days, there will be tolls to pay on certain roads/bridges & ferry prices on top of 2000 miles of fuel for a coach.
People had enquired about travelling, so we did our best for the supporters who potentially can't fly. It was always going to be a big ask, with travel times of around 26hrs, so we would need the extra days to get there!

Fair play to them for getting something organised.
They more Panthers fans that travel the better and this gives fans another option.

If I had that kind of money I would have loved a road trip with a bunch of Panthers fans. Unfortunately it is a lot

And knowing Skills, it'll be a sight nicer than Ryanair. Mercifully, unless you've been really naughty, they don't make you sit on a Ryanair flight for 26 hours But I agree, the NPSC have put an option out there for people to travel. Considering it's a week's holiday 550 doesn't seem all that unreasonable to me.

However you do this trip I cant see it coming out at less than £500 per person.

2 of us have got everything but the match tickets paid for, and we've spent £840 - Thursday till Monday. saving 20%(ish) for the 'hassle' of booking everything ourselves (everythings gone smoothly so far!) ... but no-one will get me on a coach for 26 hours, much prefer the 2 hour flight! Good on 'em for sorting it out at short notice though.

I can't believe the negativity for someone sorting out a further option so that fans can potentially go to the games. Beggars belief.

I hope they fill the bus up. In fact i hope they take two, the more of us there the better. The price is what it is and thats that. Thanks to whoever put the effort in to set it up and i hope it all goes well, some people actually like coach travel and sightseeing and if you take the Hockey games out of the trip the cost isnt that bad i dont suppose, a quick look at the Skills website and the first holiday i saw was an 8 day tour of Austria,£629. My mates at work think im mad for driving to Stanstead, flying to Venice then driving to Asiago, but thats what i want to do,itll be a great trip and if you like coach journeys you might think the same

Has anyone had any feedback on the match ticket/s situation yet? Looking at the location of Pavlodar and Neftekemsk I can't imagine them bringing many, if any, supporters. Anyone any idea of Asiago's usual attendance figure? With reference to capacity, EP says 3000 but the Asiago site says 1975.
