Please sort out 'I just can't get enough'. It's becoming tedious. Some times 4 breaks in play on the trot. It is also pathetic (in my opinion) as part of the intro. My favourites in the past was zombie nation which is amazing in an arena setting and welcome to the jungle. That's the kinda vein we need to be in. Cheap and nasty pop is ok occasionally but not as an intro and constantly through the game.

better music is needed all round, more specific ice hockey tunes. Things like welcome the to jungle are perfect pre-game

If you'd have been down in Coventry, you'd understand why that so g is still used. Sang beautifully tonight!

I don't think there's anything wrong with the fans using it as part of their repertoire, it's just the way it's been latched onto and become a clap-along-a-panthers staple (an overused one at that). If the fans were actually singing the lines, fair enough, but they by and large aren't.

Just can't get enough gets too much time over the PA but its still the best and most original song for the fans to sing. Always works better at away games because there is a more concentrated core of fans who sit together there to begin it. At home the hardcore ' vocal' fans are too spread out and people sitting round them won't join in

I think Garry updates his iTunes every two years. I like the song in moderation and when it's sung by fans but as an intro and every other stoppage it sucks.

There are much, much worse 'songs' being played on match nights
Hillbilly Rock Cotton Eyed Joe Da da da da da da da...woooooo Come On Over To My Place is cringeworthy at the end of the game
Maybe it's for some Morrissey - Hang The DJ

I like Depeche Mode, just would prefer it if they played it once or twice per game not about 3830028 times. Im not really a fan of any of the songs tbh, just look at the songs they use in the NHL... much better.

Perhaps they should mix it up and put The Saturdays version in.

(although personally I don'y mind "Come On Over...", probably because I'm happy from winning! ) "Just Can't Get Enough" is overdone, certainly... but I wouldn't want to see it dropped. Just two or three times a game... don't overdo it. That's the key... enough, but not too much. As for the music in general... I've said it before and I'll say it again... the club might want to bring a 'family' atmosphere to the games, but I think they're making a mistake in their choice of music for it. Kids will sing/clap/dance along to anything (I've seen 5yr-olds dance along to Motorhead, for crying out loud!)... we don't need happy-clappy dross all the time, or the same old chart tunes that everywhere in the known freakin' universe plays constantly (because they haven't the imagination to do anything else). Ice hockey is a fast, hard-hitting sport. High-tempo, high-energy... it plugs straight into the adrenal gland. So play fast, hard-hitting music. I mean... what is more 'hockey'... that blasted 'clap clap WOOO!' dreck or rock & metal? It works in the NHL... if that's not something to aspire to, what is? Example... I couldn't tell what music was being played as the Panthers players were skating out & being announced before the game last night (the sound system seems to be getting worse) but that was a bit more like it.

Its a sad fact that the music played at Lions and rec team games is better (as in more suited to ice hockey) than the pop music chuff rolled out by the Panthers. What happened to the guy who did the music the last time the Steelers visited? Although the volume control was all over the shop at least the music was better.

The sheer amount of Dropkick Murphys that gets played at Lions games is enough for me Get a load of that, and as someone said earlier, see what gets used in the NHL.

Music is a bit like the merchandise. They're getting better, and you shouldn't knock them for that, but it's far from perfect. Agreed, JCGE is overdone. You can't please all the people all the time, can you? It wasn't ever so long ago we had a real, live organist... And who'd have thought the Panthers would ever skate out to the instrumental version of Number of the Beast? (Shaggy, this is what it was, took me a while to hear it too, but it definitely was NotB) I'd have to say, that's a masterstroke, for me, but other opinions are available.

Steelers game we had some Steel Panther - Eyes of a Panther on, not been played since along with the Teenage Dirtbag CD which was an improvement. A bit more AC/DC, metal, rock music needed. See Skydome DJ!

everything gets done to death. JCGE, the now stupid wave to the crowd at centre ice at the end of the game. Oliver for however long it was. As posted earlier, its getting better (on some fronts) but still lacks behind in almost all areas. Also for me, JCGE is a football league song (see the everso reliable Wikipedia on the subject...) There seems to be no originality at all (Seven Nation army again a football chant) I dont mind so much when we "pinch" an idea from other teams / leagues, but the band wagon seems to easy to get on, not so easy to get off.

I was sitting there thinking it sounded like Iron Maiden, but I couldn't for the life of me make out exactly what it was. Actually, I've always thought that the start of "Phantom Of The Opera" would be the perfect intro music.

The extended version of the start of 'Enter Sandman' is pretty good as intro music.
Not a great quality video but here it is used by Wisconsin Badgers
