What a complete FARCE..who ever picked such a DUMB time (A week to the day before Xmas) to sell tickets wants their gnads nailing to that spike/mast outside the NIC. Who's got that sort of spare cash floating round to spend on play-off tix around this time of year? I chuffin' well haven't. Stuff it...if I miss out..I miss out. Twits!
p.s Any one got a clue what blocks we are getting this year anyway??

Do the people who run the Elite League not have families and friends to buy presents for and go out with over Christmas like us mere plebs? I think the Elite League has done a great job in trying to bring some stability to the sport after the ISL debacle but in the public relations department they do like to shoot themselves in the foot with alarming regularity!

They will only accept 1 cheque per booking up to card limit, so it looks like lots will be putting them on their credit card so thats another 10% booking fee as well.

Genius... let's put the tickets on sale - the EXPENSIVE tickets, remember - at the time when money is tightest for us ordinary bods, let's do it so long before the actual event that there is not even the faintest indication of whether any particular team could qualify, and let's make it difficult to pay unless you use plastic - which involves even more expense (making a weekend adult ticket £70.40!!).
Some things the EIHL gets right... some it gets wrong. This is so far into wrong and out the other side that it boggles the mind. I hesitate to call the person(s) who thought this up a moron, for fear of being unfair to morons!
Well, they can stick it. I'm not even going to think about this until February at least - I'm simply not going to be able to afford to! And if the tickets are all sold out by then? (a highly unlikely event, I'd have thought)... well, the last couple of Play-Offs weekends haven't exactly been very well organised, have they? Dumbass moves like sticking stalls in an already-crowded concourse (all to save them cash), dropping the admittedly-dumb 3rd/4th place game and not even replacing it - devaluing the event but keeping prices the same - it's beginning to simply be less and less worth the time and money. I can barely believe I'm saying this... but it's true. The EIHL have screwed up yet again, and they're at serious risk of losing even more customers.

I don't know how many tickets for Panthers fans will initially go on sale [1,000ish??] but I bet most have been sold before xmas. And there'll be plenty of "I've just got my tickets" posts on this forum in a weeks time. So the EIHL will feel justified in getting the cash in now. It should be stressed though that ther'll be plenty of tickets available until at least March. It just means you might not sit where you'd have liked.

No mention on the Elite league site about tickets going on sale yet.
may be its just the panthers at the moment.
None of the other teams have any details on their sites.

Panthers have been allocated blocks 6, 7, 8 and 9. Woohoo the corners. Just hope I'll able to get a ticket for in there now. Do you know where everyone else has been allocated?

What a joke , like i said, i ll go down when i have the cash, and get what ever seats left does that mean you go to watch 3rd rate hockey every weekend? play offs are the only time you can have fans from all the league teams in one building and no trouble just a great atmosphere not 3rd rate in my book, agree though timing of the ticket sale could have been better but hey thats life!

Selling at the wrong time. Product no better it seems. Less THEY assume the 'no price rise' is the improvement. Being as the Elite can't even bother to answer e-mails etc...what about fans declining this one in a mass refusal.as said it will make them sit up and listen.

I just don't see what all the fuss is about.
If you don't want tickets early, don't buy tickets early. If you want tickets as a Christmas present, now you can get them as a Christmas present. Nobody is being forced to buy tickets early, I doubt they'll sell out any time soon, and if they do, that just proves the EIHL made a good business decision in releasing the tickets early.
If you think it costs too much for what you get (like I do), just don't bother (like I won't). It's just supply & demand that determines the ticket prices, it's the most basic business practice in existence.
I (and several others if the off-topic board is anything to go by) just bought tickets for a Muse gig at Wembley Stadium in Mid June, the first night sold out in 15 minutes on Saturday morning, it's not like you're having to deal with anything like that here is it?

This is an absolute joke! One week before christmas and they're asking people to pod out hundreds of pounds? Christ almighty, that's nonsense.
