I believe we will win the league, BUT i wont settle or take anything from granted until we bag those final two points. There are lots of threads and tweets that have us with the league title already. Belfast won't be easy so we should all continue to take it one game at a time.

So far, in 6 league games head-to-head, Belfast have come away with 8 points and we have come away with 7. And that's 4 games at the NIC and 2 at the Odyssey. So we've had more home-ice advantage and still come off worst. Think you need to check your facts...

From watching the 2 games at the Odyssey this year we have not even been in the same league as the panthers got a lucky goal to get the least game to OT to then lose in the shoot out

I can't quite believe we have almost done it, I keep thinking its too good to be true. I am so excited about the weekend and work can't wait for me to finish cos I'm driving them all mad telling them all about us. Looking forward to being with like minded people and hopefully celebrating all together.

We've been magnanimous in defeat where the league's concerned for a few years. Let's be gracious in victory. But only when we actually win... Rotund chanteuses central reports a deadly quiet as yet.

Agree totally with the previous posters. I am confident this team will do the business but Belfast are not going to roll over for us-they will be desperate not to lose the title on their own ice. If we do suffer two defeats to them, the last weekend will be very tense-and no doubt a few memories of 1996 will surface. A win on Friday will settle it - then we can celebrate.
