Seems to have slipped under the radar this year, but just noticed its pencilled in for Sunday 31st.
Good, how long have been on about having on the Sunday so as to maximise the chance of it being the second leg?

Easter Sunday. Wonder how good public transport will be that day. Not really an issue for myself as i can drive but maybe for others. Also maybe affect attendance at the game that usually has the best atmosphere of the season. That aside having the second game is definatly for the better.

A quick look at the Capital FM Arena website reveals why, We Will Rock You is on from Wednesday till Saturday.
Just found a bigger problem too, the only free date it seems to play a possible home leg of the Cup Final (No offence Belfast) is on Tuesday 12th or Wed 13th of March. Thats a lot of games in a short space before we go to Belfast for the double header

Last seasons quarter final was one of the greatest games I can remember I recent seasons. The comeback against braehead a the winner from Benny is the game I remember most from last season! Hopefully there's not as much pressure after the first leg this year though!

They might not be available for some reason and have to play it on a certain date, which would put the it closer to the double header in Belfast. This would not give us much rest time for a couple of tough games. We will have to wait and see what possible other team has to say.

Anyone got the direct no for the ticket line, not the one that starts 084 and charges you more than the booking fee.

Sheffield screwed over on this one, they had venue based upon the standings, although I suppose they could say if that doesn"t matter then the Panthers should forgo any home ice advantage for playoffs.

Wrong thread, think you should be on the challenge cup FINAL game thread also as far as "advantages" are concerned it isnt the fault of the team that the fans turn out in very large numbers home AND AWAY to support the team plus IF panthers are designated the away team then any on ice advantage is pretty much nullified, no?..

Anyone else noticed that opposition fans have only been moaning about the Panthers' supposed 'home ice advantage' at the POFW since we've actually been winning the PO trophy? Before that, not a peep out of them about it (too busy drivelling on about '0.2 seconds' or similar). Funny that...

No...that's our trade from a CUP final played in someone else's favour. Gary Moran has already made a statement as regards the Cup tournament needing to be wrapped Upjohn earlier.Thats what needs doing.
