yes I'd noticed Sheffield successive away 3 nighter, can't get much tougher than that... Least panthers 3 nighter keeps them in Scotland, so not much travelling plus easier games, though by no means gimmies. The Giants have only dropped 1 point playing Cov this season thus far, and I can't see them dropping any more personally. Likewise just one point dropped against Cardiff so far. Also their remaining two games against Sheff time well for them: the night after sheff face nottm, then final league day of season. As already stated Panther's double header in Belfast is going to be massive. Panthers just can not afford to get beat twice that weekend.. Well maybe unless Panthers have at least a 6 point lead going into Belfast weekender.

Coventry and been very close to beating the giants. 3-0 up then lost in overtime if I'm right? And Sunday night showed how close Cardiff came to winning. The giants don't seem to be producing dominating score lines like us, however what they are doing is coming back from 2-0/3-0 down and getting a result, and that is possibly a lot more dangerous.

If I was to break down the chances of each team winning the league out of 100 overall, I'd probably say: Panthers 50 - You have that crucial 2 point advantage Belfast 45 - A similar schedule in terms of difficulty, but that 2 point gap could be crucial Sheffield 5 - We still have an outside chance, but we have a tough schedule and can probably only afford to lose one more game and that would have to be against someone other than Nottingham. You're in pole position and whilst you've struggled to dominate against the better teams in the league (Sheffield/Belfast), you've been fairly ruthless against the rest and would be worthy champions. Looking at the results this season it would seem Coventry don't roll over for us (Steelers) afterall, they have a much better record against us than you this season. Regards Doom

Its all pretty academic as to who plays who, for all the top 3 teams its about winning, whoever wins the most games over the rest of the season will in all likelihood win the championship and imho its that simple...
If panthers win all but one game (and most probably two), out of their remaining 13 games its theirs...

Another weekend gone Pressure is still on, but another 4pt w/e in the bag ļ
Big 2-game round robins between Panthers, Steelers and Giants mean it is still anybody¡¦s title to win.

If Sheffield get all 6 points this weekend coming then they have to be favourites for the run in. We need to take the points on Friday and hope belfast help us out a little. Dundee also have a score to settle with them. What a great weekend to look forward to!!

Tough week/weekend for Sheffield and Belfast by the looks of things.
Belfast have Dundee away (Thursday) followed by Sheffield at home (Saturday) and Cardiff away on Sunday.
Sheffield have three tough road games, after us on Friday, they play Belfast away (Saturday) then Dundee away on Sunday.
If we can beat Shuff on Friday then it puts big pressure on our title rivals.

Happily take our run in. 3 games in a row against Cardiff is gonna be tough for the Giants. There's a bit of tension there after the last time they played! Not saying our triple header will be easy, but I'd prefer it to the one Steelers have had this weekend.

I don't see Belfast dropping points at home to cardiff; then unlikely to in their Scottish double header, tho Caps in decent form. Then it's the "deciders" v us; before a final weekend for them which looks tough on paper, but can see Shuff & possibly Cov not putting in too much effort..
Fife have a good home record & Caps will be a tricky especially as it will be 3rd game in successive evenings. Need to at least share the spoils in Belfast, or it could turn into a very nervous final weekend...
it's a bit quirky with the fixtures that Panthers play two home games in a row against Steelers, and play just two out of our last 10 at home.

Does anyone know if there's anywhere where there is one of those results grids? One with the teams across the top and down the side and the results in a table (not sure if I've explained that very well). Can't see one on the EIHL website.

Some tough games for everyone there. A fair bit of blood and snot to be spilled before all this is decided, methinks.
