Team GB will need an enforcer.

Probably just the two coaches that were closest to the rink.. less hassle

I hope Corey declares all of our players injured.
Not interested, all involved will try anything to screw us out of the league and we need the rest.

The best thing Finnerty and Cloutier could do here is scout the Latvians, see what systems they like to play and use that one. Be a great thing to do, why wouldn't they? We all want GB to do well and no one to get injured, let's all take off our rose tinted club specs for one night eh?

We all want GB to do well and no one to get injured....... Do we? I follow Team USA, and I'd rather Panthers imports avoided getting injured by not playing in this game.

Lets focus on Nottingham Panthers first, set up a dynasty of winning the league 3 times in a row, dominate the domestic game, then we'll think about trying to sort out GB hockey.
You know finnerty and Cloutier are going to pick K-wall (third best keeper) and our stars, double shift them, try to tire and injure them. With the bile the poisened dwarf has been spouting in the press recently if i was the panthers org i wouldnt let him anywhere near them.
Bout of the neuro virus in the panthers camp for me, then all 100% and rested for the important games.

Whilst I find Pantherdmans view a little extreme, it's hard to disagree with it. I'd rather none of our imports played in this game and we concentrated on us. I know the bigger picture is GB but right now, Panthers are my biggest concern. I hope players like Kowalskis, Fox et al are not included. It's time for us to be a bit selfish.

I thought the fact I support the national team of another country was made pretty clear, twice. Why would I want an ice hockey team I don't support to do well? Do you want Blaze or Steelers to do well? As a Bruins fan do you want Montreal to do well?

Yeah, so you support the USA, but why would you not want GB to do well, the country where I presume your living? As a Panthers fan, of course I wouldn't want an Elite League rival to do well, same with the Habs. I just can't understand why wouldn't support GB when your team isn't even playing..

This is a prep game for the Olympic qualifiers yes? If GB make Sochi then they may play against the USA. As I understand it that makes GB and the US competitive rivals. As a USA fan I could see why there is no support for GB. Either that or James actually wants GB to qualify and the USA guarantee themselves the points in the resulting match up...............

But USA aren't in the qualifiers and GB are, so there not rivals just yet, but I still can't see why James wouldn't wanr GB to do well, unless he has ties to the other teams GB are playing (in the qualifiers).

Because hes American and like most other people, his loyalties lie with his country - like I don't care about the USA. Just because he follows Panthers, not team GB.

James isn't American. He's English.
But if he wants to follow "Team USA" rather than "Team GB" then that's his choice.

I'm Dual national, born in the US, raised in the UK. I'm pretty sure it was mentioned years back when we were discussing NHL teams after Tuesday night hockey and you asked why I followed Detroit Red Wings. Seeing as the Henry Ford Hospital maternity suite was less than two miles from Olympia Stadium it wasn't so much a choice.......
