Just wondered if anyone can help with a problem I'm having booking tickets for Braehead next weekend.
I've tried to buy tickets on their arena website using the interactive map but it will only allow me to select tickets in the first 3 rows and I'd like to sit further back than that. I then rang the ticket office (operated by ticketmaster) and was told that they can also only allocate tickets in those first three rows as the others are either sold out or not yet released for sale (I assume the latter).
Are others having similar difficulties or does anyone know a way around this? Would I be ok just to buy tickets on the day when I arrive in the hope that I will then be able to choose seats that are further back? It's my first trip up to Braehead so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It might be because there is no netting at the end where the away fans sit, and several rows of seats are taped off.

That's exactly the reason, no nets on the away end at Braehead yet, so you're just going to have to sit a bit lower down for this one dude, sorry!

Plus they sometimes don't open the upper tiers until nearer the day of the game. I went on this morning to see about tickets for the Fife game and it looked like the entire upper tier was sold out. When we went to the Box Office, it turned out the opened the top tier at 2.30pm that afternoon.
So you may get tickets further back nearer game day.

They wait to the lower bowl has been sold before opening top bowl. You won't have a problem buying ticket at box office as Arena holds 4000 and at the moment our attendance is between 2400 to just under 3000. So seats will be available and buy your preferred seat on the day at box office. Or as SparkyMark said wait till top bowl open if wanting to buy on line but no need to.

I also have a spare ticket for this game due to someone pulling out last minute.
