Interesting result over in Squealer land..... Not a good weekend for Mr Finnerty and Co. Pecker got a 5+ Game for a butt ending in the last 5 mins, effectively killing any chance of a come back. Think that is the first competitive win against Shuff for the Blaze for quite some time.
This is going to be a long and interesting season - not sure there are any easy games this year, for anyone.

Whilst that is great news, I don't think it deserves a topic xD

With the conference system there are going to be a lot of ups and downs. Early results important but not a disaster. If any team can get on a run they can make progress - hopefully us. On the match 13 (shuff) penalties against 3 (Cov). Also we are one point behind Belfast now.

careful what you wish for Those 50/50 sales must really be flying if Shuff are considering getting into the NHLer game. Then again, since when has 'money in ≥ money out' been part of the Steelers way of thinking?

Sheffield react to two weekend losses... by bringing Mike O Connor back. Panthers bring in Lepine and Stuart. I know which I prefer!

I think you need to go have a word with yourself in future.

I wasn't anti anything, read some posts again i said it would great for the league but not good when they have to return back and if we signed one I would be happy but I'd rather see an ahl forward come in who will stay for the season . But we will find out soon enough .

To be fair the position that Mike applied for has been open for weeks. He has been the successful applicant though. RE NHLer, rumours are there's one on the way. I stand by what I said, good and bad points for the league.
