Announced on the news page. States Corey was hit in the leg & will get some tests done when the swelling goes down. Seems he might be behind the bench earlier that first thought!

"Konth"...
Anyway, let's hope rumours of Lepine are true, for the numbers if nothing else.

If it is that bad... it'll be tough for Corey to take a back seat playing-wise... but he could end up being a spare import.
Also... glad to see in the same article on the OS that Weaver's injury wasn't a recurrence of his old (serious) knee problem... but a swollen hand after blocking a shot on Saturday... and should be OK for the weekend.

"David Simms @simmsey
Start the countdown for Lepine returning to Nottingham. Days not weeks I think. "
Well many fans will welcome this and the management will be seen to be doing something. As Shaggy says something is not right - is this the fix? I feel that it might well help. but not the complete solution.

Corey has has and does have alot of critics, but this will be the first time he has missed a game for the panthers due to injury and that is some going.
It will be interesting to see how the tem perform without him on the ice.
Last time he didnt play we went to Cardiff last season and put in a great game and also seems like last night we started playing alot better when he went off injured.

Shame Corey is out for a Konth, he won't be able to help out his tam mates.
Get someone professional on the press releases please!!!

How will the injury impact on his on ice training?
If he cant skate how does he run through drills and things on ice

Here's me thinking "konth" was some kind of new term when a player is out of action with 0 points...like a duck in cricket.
But seriously, I read that last night on the way home from Cardiff and all of us int eh car went silent before peeing ourselves laughing at the mistype.

Coaches very rarely skate the drills to show you how they work. They use a board, a pen and symbols to show the forwards, defence, where to skate and so on and so forth

Shame for Corey because he is still in the top two best offensive dmen in the league along with Sandrock.
However,i do wonder if he really is out for a month or, has NB told him "your going behind the bench" and the injury is a conveniently timed smokescreen ?
