One of my favourite movies and George Clooney was an excellent choice for the voice of Fantastic Mr Fox.........sorry read the thread wrong.
Yes I am also happy with Jordon Fox being captain, I also think having Matthew Myers as as an assitant is correct, he is now very much a leader in this team.

Think I already sing about 5 different songs for Fox, surely get a new one in with him being Captain lol.
Great choice IMO. Just hope the responsibilities of being Captain don't take anything away from his game.

Happy that he's got it but I get the funny feeling that he has been given it to keep him at the club, as he made it clear that he was unhappy with the situation with Danny. Wouldn't be the first time this happened though as that was one the main reason why McAslan returned when he was made Capt.

Delighted to confirm that Jordan Fox will be live in the studio for Pre-match with David Jackson on BBC Radio Nottingham tomorrow from 6pm. Any questions for the new Panthers skipper, tweet David here twitter.com/MatchtalkO

So we kept him by making him captain! Where's the issue.

So we kept him by making him captain! Where's the issue. So you think the only reason Fox came back to Nottingham was because he was offered the captaincy? Little bit cynical and perhaps disrespectful to the club, coach and player don't you think? Perhaps he came back to Nottingham because he really likes it here and perhaps the coach used his good judgement to deem Fox worthy of the captaincy based on Fox's potential to lead? It is amazing that some folk think so little of organisation behind the team they profess to support that they'd think the privilege of being captain of the team would be used as some cheap bargaining chip like degrees from Derby Uni are.

Why should it not be used as a bargaining chip? Added responsibility or status is used in all kind of jobs as a way to retain staff who might leave. Whether it has been in this situation we don't know but there is no reason it shouldn't be if it helps us keep our best players. For what it's worth, I agree 100% with the decision to make Fox captain. He has all the qualities needed for the role and will set a great example to new and returning players of what is required if we want to be successful this season.

Any questions for the new Panthers skipper, tweet David here twitter.com/MatchtalkO Heard the interveiw - was interested to hear Jordan say he wanted to return and would like to finish his career with us - his wife likes Nottingham as well (does help) - on another note - I am very worried that the majority of posts on this thread are positive - STOP IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
