Went to the game last night and it was fine as a spectacle, really enjoyed K-Wall's goal but ...
£17 to see half a Panthers team, in a game played at half-tempo in front of a half-empty arena?
Are you having a giraffe? Why not just charge £20 and have done. It was pre-season for fudges sake.

....and I may have gone to both games for £20. As it was , I stayed at home due to funds being low now.

Read other posts on Panthers v Asiago. Totally agree. GM and NB are again in danger of scoring another own goal. Panthers PR needs to up their game. Its not about GM attracting the spotlight and billing the match as the Italian Job, it should be a two way communication with the fans. As a life long Forest fan its a breath of fresh air what is happening there. I can even get a feed on the owners comments. Panthers management ignore the rumblings at your peril. That is not to say at times they have unfair criticism.

Make no bones about it,it was extremely poor, how Panthers can justify full ticket prices for that half paced, half arsed, low intensity rubbish with five imports missing is beyond me.
So what did Panthers learn that they couldn't have done if they had played even our Lions.
They learnt that the missing four imports had better get here quick, oh and that Panthers fans will turn up for anything and make Panthers a nice bit of profit no doubt......... And thats just about it i would think.
And yes i did go Saturday but that was more than enough, had it been any good i would have gone Sunday too,but it was crap so i didn't !
It was a joke,if thats the best pre season warm up Panthers could serve up then they have an awful lot to learn about preperation, entertainment and value for money.

Seems a bit off to charge full prices, especially when half the teams not there. It was £36 for the whole weekend to watch 4 games in the Scottish Autumn Cup, sure you had to put up with Dundee and Edinburgh for that, but hey, you have to take the rough with the smooth ;D

Bit of a farce like the 20/20 another one bites the dust as far as I'm concerned

Just do as i am sure many of us did......
stay at home.
It will never change, moan all your want. Only way they will ever stand up and take notice is when the profits dry out which wont happen...which in its own right is a good thing. Should be happy we get the turnout we do for all games regardless of performance.

Devils advocate - it wasnt compulsory to go was it? I paid £17 for the ticket on saturday enjoyed the game. Going to a pre-season friendly is always a gamble, whether its football, hockey, whatever sport.

They are exhibition games, your choice go or stay home. No team is set yet so expect less than the final team version.

As you rightly say gump it was effectively an exhibition game and pre season at that too, and as it was already stated that there would be up to 5 import players missing i chose that this wasnt value for money and stayed at home. No point moaning after the event unless of course you bought a ticket in good faith that you would see the full squad, in which case it would lead you to think next time once bitten twice shy...

Personally, I enjoyed the first game, the second not so much. Hey ho, that's how it works out sometimes. Don't feel particularly well-rewarded for my money, nor particularly short-changed. It is what it is.
