According to one source he has had talks with Detorit and Tampa Bay.
If his fitness is still there (and its probably pretty good given the fitness addict he always was) I'd have him back at the Wings as a back-up to Howard in a heartbeat. Can't be any worse than Joey MacDonald, Tom McCollum, Ty Conklin.
It'd also help to correct the rapid reduction in average age the Wings are experiencing with Lidstrom retiring.
Now if we can only get Kozlov (40yo), Fedorov (42yo), Larionov (51yo) and Fetisov (54yo) back they can slot in with Datsyuk and we'll have a Russian Five again......
