What Brits are not on a two year deal? Simms tweeted an established GB player is on the move. Wondering who that could be. Also Cardiff have big news to announce to or row, wonder what news is coming out.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Marc Levers on the move or Matty (even tho he has a business with Danny). Would hope not though.

Contracts, be they 1 year or 2, don't seem to mean much in ice hockey!

Contracts, be they 1 year or 2, don't seem to mean much in ice hockey! This is very true, pity contracts couldn't be made more air-tight but we all know that somewhere there would always be a get out clause.

Contracts for British players are better than for imports. A British player under contract cannot join another British club without the current clubs permission.
They can move abroad if they like, but cant walk out of one team to join another.

Matthew is on a 2 year deal. He confirmed this at a supporters club night this season. My money is on Weaver leaving Blaze.

They can move abroad if they like, but cant walk out of one team to join another. That's the same for imports too, there will be a clause in all contracts saying that they can not effectively ask to terminate there contract and join another uk club that year. Otherwise you would get players jumping ship in December and January to say join Belfast or who ever was the most likely to win a championship
