Looks like losing those 2 players back to their old US club might have them struggling a little which is a real shame after their great start.

Why are london playing an exhibition games against Bison during the season?
Don't make sense to me, pre season yeah but during the season?

It is actually a cup competition called 'The Rink Cup' Set up between, Cardiff,Coventry,London and Basingstoke to fill the fixture gap left by Manchester Mothballing.
Cardiff beat basingstoke 3-0 in this competition on wedneday

the BNL cross league games cover for Manchester folding, we are playing just as many games as we did last year in the league(well pretty much), we are also meant to have an expeanded play-offs this year too.
so is there really any point in it??

the BNL cross league games cover for Manchester folding, we are playing just as many games as we did last year in the league(well pretty much) No we're not. 2003-04 league regular season, we played 7 EIHL teams 4 times each home and away... 7x8 = 56. 2004-05 season, we are playing 6 EIHL teams 3 times each home and away, and 7 BNL teams once each home and away.... 6x6 & 7x2 = 50. Effectively we have still lost most of the Manchester games.

And if Manchester were competing this year we would have played exactly as many games as last year. 50+3+3=56.
So it was likely to be all worked out before Manchester quit.
