Why are Nottingham one of the only Clubs not to sell mid season - season tickets. I think they are missing a trick here to gain additional guaranteed revenue.

one of the only clubs? who are the others?
i don't think the club are a fan of season tickets as they get more revenue from game day ticket sales.

Sheffield were advertising them at our last game there. I know Basingstoke's are going on sale too.
Season tickets generates guaranteed revenue and in this climate it's not a bad thing at all...

As I said its a way of generating guaranteed revenue, if it's not something that is of benefit then maybe they should stop selling them... Just curious why they would not sell them.

as i said, they are cheaper than game day tickets. hence why a business do not like them, for games like Steelers / belfast etc they would rather have punters paying £16 a ticket than the £14 that a season ticket approximately generates.
you're right they do ensure an income. but you have to take into account that there is production of the cards, postage, and the rigmoral of having to set it all up on the arena system, not cheap and not straight forward.

As I do most of the time, I have to agree with Lee. It would be of no benefit to the Panthers to do half season tickets. the initial season ticket money is to get flights, in pay accomodation etc. I doubt a customer will refuse to come to games because we don't do half season tickets and they can make the extra money by charging £16 a pop rather than reduced rates for half season tickets.

and i think the only reason steelers are doing it is because they lost their season ticket money again during the summer and no matter what they say you can almost garuntee season tickets were down this year

Even if they did do them, you'd still end up having to pay for other games anyway.
Farce.

I need to stop posting... Businesses LOVE them...helps cashflow during the summer months where there's significant expense and no other income. It's guaranteed income - removing uncertainty when preparing budgets. Finally, how many people would miss games if they didn't have them or do and still have to pay meaning overall income is higher? Why even bother buying tickets at all when Showsec scanners are not working and nobody checks your tickets anyway?

Chri Yeah and thats why they have Season tickets but its no reason to have half season tickets. Half season tickets are pointless really as your giving discounted tickets to people who unless something drastically changes in their life or the club are going to pay full price for the games anyway. Does anyone know how many Season tickets panthers sell? my guess is about 2000

I'm sure panthers would fill the entire arena with season ticket sales if they could. Great wayto guarantee sales all season. Another big recession and people stop going out and watching matches. Season ticket sales are all still in the bank.
