4-0 so looks like milan are going through unless we beat amiens or they beat us by a huge amount.

If we beat Amiens and milan also wins tomorrow, does it mean we go through because we beat them in the shootout or does it go down to goal difference?

goal difference
thats why we will have to beat milan by a lot of goal tommorow as milan have +4(which is only goingto go up tomorrow
we have +1
and amiens have -1
eg why we have to beatwhy ethier amiens or us have to win by a lot of goal to go through
oh and Lubjani(or what ever) they are out

Tim, I did not understand a word of that..
Just to clarify.....
If Milan lose tomorrow and we beat or draw with Amiens - we go through.
If Milan win and we win - we will have to beat Amiens by 4 more goals than Milan win by tomorrow night.

yes think so
But if Milan win we would have to win by at least 4 goals BUT THAT IS ONLY IF MILAN WIN BY ONE GOAL, if they win by more we have to beat milan score by three.
eg milan win 4-0 we will have to beat amiens 7-0 ( i think)

Darn it! That is BAD news Just when I was begining to anticipate a Norwegian excursion. Thought the French were our friends.... Milan will beat Olympia by more than one goal so looks like we need a cricket score against Amiens Whatever the outcome tomorrow, it sounds like the lads have discovered some real teamwork now - hopefully they will bring it back with them to the domestic competitions. Shame about the Milan result - all the other (domestic) results tonight went quite well for us.

Yes, it's a shame having done so well with all the injuries to accept that even if we win our 3rd game, it looks as if Milan are almost bound to win theirs thus finishing level on points and realistically we won't make up the goal difference.
It's there for Milan to lose now..really out of our hands but I hope the lads do their best against Amiens just to win.
I hate to sour the team effort made but if JC had used his brains in the first game v Milan, it's possible we could have won that and then advancing on Sunday would have been in our own hands
If this, if that..what does it matter. Panthers have done wonders for British hockey here. The injuries are unfortunate but the memory of their achievement should spur the team on when home on league duty in the three matches against Elite opposition this month.

Just depends on who gives up the easiest i suppose, or which team out of Panthers and Milan has the most desire and the most gas left in the tank. Whatever the outcome the boys have done us proud this weekend

Amiens can still quailify if Milan lose and Amiens beat us i believe. Giving amiens 4 pts, panthers 3 pts, Milan 3pts,the other team 2pts

Well Milan are currently beating Olympia 2-0 after 10 mins or so.
Lets go for the win tonight but if Milan win by more than 2 goals I don't think we should risk players picking up an injury.

if we have no chance of going though give Scott more ice time, maybe instead of clarke(if he does have a slight injury and also play wojciak in defence instead of magdosko , if he is still hurting.
