Had a quick look on NHL section and cannot see any mention of this. Interesting decision in NHL over the weekend, however, it has been pretty well explained why the action has been taken to Brad Boyes. I know we do not have a rule book per se, but sure as hell, it will be used if the situation arises here in UK. Wonder if Gui has been tipped off..... What do you all think? video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=35&id=124715

Matt Stephenson only got 2+10 against the Blaze for a check to the head. It wasnt a check to the head. Should have been called boarding or checking from behind but it wasnt to the head.

I realy dont understand why a check to the head is only a 2+10, i thnk if you commit a check to the head it should be an automatic game misconduct.
Checking to the head is an easy way to end a career.
however with our refs half of them dont know the difference between a check to the head and a tripping call half the time.

I wasn't at the game so i can't comment weather it was a check to the head or not. However, that is what the ref called so the penalty received by the player should reflect that.
