Not sure either! Found a link to this on twitter over the weekend www.elitefantasyleague.co.ukI emailed asking for more details, apparently: Entry will be £5. (via PayPal).
You will have the opportunity to select a team using a unique team builder on the website
Every team will have a 100 'puck' budget to pick 11 players (1 x n/m, 4 x d, 6 x f)
Every team will also be credited with 100 'skates'. These are in-game credits that are used to make transfers.
Players in the team will score points in all league and cup games between 16th Sept 2011 and 23rd March 2012.
The top 5 places will earn one of the cash prizes.
You will also be able to create a mini-league and invite your friends, so that you can compete for bragging rights.
The reason that it's not going to launch until 11th September is that being it's first year (live anyway) we wanted to give people a chance to view the players in a competitive environment and have a bit of time to think about who they want.
We will be releasing the player values prior to launch though.

I thought that, hence asking about the start date, not sure what the logic is, I suppose if you think those 4 are likely to be in the later stages of the CC so that would offset it.

There's an email address on the site, I'd ask there.

Hi, Prizes will be honoured no matter how many people sign up. With regard to starting after the season has begun, it provides the opportunity tfor fans to see some players before deciding on their team. This concept was piloted last season and the number of games played evens out with doubled up league/cup games as well as semi final and final progressions. We anticipate that the player values and scoring system will be released on Monday, via the Facebook page. To add, the league will be fully licensed in regard to legalities set out by the Gambling Act 2005 (E.g authorised to take payment and pay out prizes). Thanks Richard Elite Fantasy League www.elitefantasyleague.co.ukTwitter: @elitefantleague www.facebook.com/EliteFantasyLeague

Players from those teams will probably still score more in fewer games anyway
