"PANTHERS BOARD UP AT TRENT BRIDGE. The GMB Panthers' summer marketing spread to a packed house at the international cricket at Trent Bridge today. The new advertising board had pride of place at the back of the William Clarke stand for the game between England and Sri Lanka."
Sorry don't wish to sound negative, but I was at the match an over an hour before the start and there all through the match. I wandered round the ground a bit also. I was totally unaware that there was anything to do with the Panthers was being displayed.

"The hoarding, which was also seen on television..."
I pray to god that our press people are never trusted with a TV advert

Panthers Board up Trent Bridge
Relieved to see what it really was, had been thinking that must need a lot of wood and nails

"The hoarding, which was also seen on television..."I pray to god that our press people are never trusted with a TV advert Big outdoor boards are referred to as advertising hoardings, so not a typo this time

you can't seriously be knocking the club for this?
while other clubs have real problems ours is out there doing the right thing and advertising the sport to attract more custom rather than looking for excuses why they can't keep up with other clubs, mucking about with changing owners and petty squabbles, blah blah blah

Some folk are only happy when they are complaining.

As I said I didnt wish to sound negative. Perhaps more thought can be given the next time advertising is put up. The comment was to be viewed as constructive.

They should try and get an advert on the scoreboard. It plays film and video footage.
